New York activist Tamika Mallory says she was booted from an American Airlines flight in Miami after a pilot inserted himself into a dispute over her seat assignment.
Mallory, a co-chair of the Women’s March on Washington, was traveling home to New York when the pilot followed her to scold her over an argument she had with a gate agent.
He then had her summoned from her seat and kicked off the flight, she told the Daily News.
“It definitely was white male aggression. I was singled out, I was disrespected, and he was trying to intimidate me. I was discriminated against,” she said.

The pilot has ultimate authority to throw ANYONE off the flight.
It’s a lot better to do it on the ground before the flight is airborne.

Lady, you have to behave yourself on an airplane. The pilot would have treated a white person, man or woman, the same way.
As soon as I saw her name, I kind of figured what this would be all about.
Now how did I know she was black without seeing her picture.
How obnoxious would she have had to be, before a white pilot, KNOWING the level of heat he was going to get for kicking a black woman off, took the step of having her removed?

It must have been quite an argument; the gate agent probably talked to the pilot, or he saw what was happening. For this to have happened, as I said, it must have been quite the event. Maybe other passengers were talking about it.
Whatever it was, it wasn’t racism.
