Federal agents caught the last suspect in Terry’s murder this week.
Earlier this week, federal agents from both the United States and Mexico apprehended another suspect in the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
Jesus Rosario Favela Astorga was arrested in Mexico Monday and charged with first-degree murder, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday.
Astorga is believed to be the final suspect linked to the death of Terry. However, the past administration played a major role in facilitating his tragic demise. Without the dangerous “Fast and Furious” gun-running scheme initiated by Barack Obama’s Justice Department, Agent Terry may very well still be in uniform today.
Terry was killed in 2010 during a fierce gunfight between U.S. Border Patrol agents and five Mexican drug cartel members in the Arizona desert. While the presence of dangerous Mexican cartels on the U.S. borders is alarming enough, Terry’s death highlighted a massive gun-running operation that was approved by the Obama administration.
The exposed federal initiative was named Operation Fast and Furious, a reckless operation run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which allowed dangerous criminals to buy advanced weapons in an effort to track them into Mexico. The ATF estimates that they lost more than 1,400 of the 2,000 weapons that made their way across the border. Two of those guns were found on the scene of the crime where Agent Terry was gunned down.
Instead of taking responsibility for the operation that resulted in the death of Brian Terry, the Obama administration tried to block Congress from seeing records pertaining to the incident, according to the House Oversight Committee. Documents show that former Attorney General Eric Holder was intimately involved in the effort “to carefully limit and obstruct the information produced to Congress.”
And equally as appalling, evidence obtained by news outlets shows that the Obama DOJ seemingly utilized operation Fast and Furious to attack the Second Amendment. President Obama attempted to leverage his own dangerous policies to call for more congressional action on gun control.
The Obama-Holder Department of Justice never had to answer for their reckless policies and dangerous behavior that resulted in the death of an American law enforcement agent. The Obama-Holder DOJ sold the guns that killed Brian Terry. But no one there served time in prison, and no one was fired, as a result of their extra-constitutional policy endeavor.
By all accounts, Brian Terry was an American hero who dedicated his life to public service. You can honor his life by supporting the Brian Terry Foundation, the Border Patrol Foundation, or the many more charities that support the law enforcement community.
In general....one might say of alll...walked away scot-free.........
Our intelligence agencies, law enforcement branch and our judicial branch have all been politicized.
Even if we still have some good men and women working in those places, none are willing to stand up and stick their necks out.
Just remember, American people have long memory span. There will come a time for reckoning.
Hang the rotting remains of those illegals who have murdered Border Patrolmen and othe Americans, on the south facing side of The Wall.

add to that a ton of Mexican nationals and probably some US Citizens. If Mexico was not in bed with Obama (pun?) and his open border stuff, they would have made a loud enough protest to blow the dome off the capitol.

Being that all of them are directly implicated in the Russian bribe investigation too, is it not far easier to get the others when they are hanging (figuratively) for the biggest and easiest one? They will all cop pleas to make sure those don’t get them drug through another shredder. It will just add to the list which I’m sure will be concurrently but the conviction stands when it is all said and done.
Even though the optics of Sessions’ answer about the status of Rosenstein were jaw dropping on the surface, I would agree with LS that it is the end game, not the immediate gratification of instant karma that matters most to draining the swamp. Somehow, this got around all of the swamp critters that neutered their ability or desires to keep it quashed so that should be a far better indicator of what is happening behind the scenes of public optics.
Having Victoria make news about the threat of criminal repercussions for breaking the NDA was masterful to get the public outcry elevated for its optics and we learned last night live on Hannity from her that Grassley has apparently sidelined that threat so he could testify before their Judiciary.
Think extreme long ball, much further than most can see and that is the world Trump is operating in.

On October 1, 2015, two men were convicted of the murder of Brian Terry in December 2010 using weapons supplied by the US Government for the Fast & Furious Scheme. It was this event that brought F&F to light.
About October 1, 2016 Stephen Paddock began his year long acquisition of multiple semi-automatic weapons and accessories.
His brother, Eric, said Stephen had no interest in guns. I believe that was a lie.
Stephen's girlfriend said she knew nothing....but she had gone with him to gun shops on at least two occasions. So I believe that was a lie.
Stephen's friend/associate took a tour of Stephen's house which included a gun room. This same friend also said they discussed the second amendment and my take was that it seemed to arouse Paddock.
One of the Casinos he tried to stay in before Mandalay Bay said he wanted a room really bad since it was his anniversary. He never got a room there.
October 1, 2017 was the second anniversary of the conviction of the murderers of Brian Terry.
Stephen Paddock...Here was a man who was very wealthy. He purchased ALL the weapons he owned legally. He had 23 semi-automatic weapons in his room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Using just a couple of those weapons, he was able to kill 58 people and wound hundreds of others. Imagine how many people 2000 weapons could kill.
As insane as it is, was Stephen's motive to show what Fast & Furious could do with 100 times the number of weapons in his room.
By coincidence, I believe they just caught a third killer involved in the murder of Brian Terry.
Motives in these events are self-conceived and self-exasperated and make sense only to the killer.
Never forget.
