What about her 1st amendment rights? What, only the rich, spoiled athletic kids get 1st amendment rights? She wasn’t even at work or in uniform.

She should sue. This actually is a violation of the 1st amendment. When the Governor of a state infringes on the rights of a private citizen.....

But they would be within their rights to fire her assuming that does violate the contract they have with the police union. BTW, the same applies to team owners who want to fire (i.e. Cut or waive) a player whose actions they deem to be detrimental
