No one ever asks where the carbon tax goes.
The globalists want to establish a revenue stream for the U.N.
Ask the people again, would you accept a tax to be paid to the U.N.?

These polls are garbage. ALL of them.

Another recent Yale survey found that overall, 78% of registered American voters support taxing and/or regulating carbon pollution, including 67% of Republicans and 60% of conservative Republicans.
Try out your poll numbers by running pro-carbon tax Republicans in the primaries. Steyer would fund them.

What Americans want that?
None that I’ve ever met.
Even Libs start to back away when the hand starts
to reach for their own wallets.

its historically ironic, hilariously so, to read a British newspaper telling us that we Americans want to pay more taxes.
King George would be proud

I work for a utility company and NO ONE wants a higher bill. Not even in the wealthy liberal parts of town near the river.

It's not difficult to imagine exactly *who* at Yale conducyed this "survey" and exactly how the question was worded:
"Would you support a carbon tax on energy or would you prefer to have a red hot poker shoved into your eye?"

If you ask the question the right way to the right audience you get people willing to pay to reduce unicorn farts.

Put a tax on college (rip off) text books. Make it $ 50 per book).
I hated when Professors had a required list and many were their friends and never referred to the book in the course. Ripping off poor college student without even a thought.

Well, I guess when the only people that you're surveying are liberals .. both Republican and Democrat .. from the northeast, you could probably get numbers like those reflected in the article.
"I mean, after all, I don't know ANYBODY who is against a carbon tax ..." said every liberal prog on the East Coast.
