Former Clinton Campaign Spokesman Defends Trump Dossier
Daily Caller ^ | 10/24/2017 | Henry Rodgers

Posted on 10/24/2017 11:24:27 PM PDT by ding_dong_daddy_from_dumas

Fallon spoke in favor of the Washington Post report that Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid opposition research firm Fusion GPS to investigate then-candidate Donald Trump as part of a project that led to the dossier compiled by a former British spy...

“I regret I didnt know about Christopher Steele’s hiring pre-election. If I had, I would have volunteered to go to Europe and try to help him,” Fallon tweeted. “If I’d gotten his dossier before Nov 8, I may have tried to convince Mook & Podesta to let me hold a Comey-style press conference to read it.” Fallon added that he had no idea what Fusion or Steele were paid, but said that no matter the amount it will be “money well spent” if even a part of that dossier helps special counsel Robert Mueller in the long run.

The demondogs have to defend this. If their story fall apart the MSM can’t save their butts.

Haven’t heard from Lanny Davis and/or James Carville lately.

This effort is to muddy the facts in the political landscape. This is all in the blood sport of politics.

Meanwhile, they are letting the principals in this dossier get away with pleading the 5th. | say jail them until they talk.

what’s depressing is that Fox News was pulled off air in the UK suddenly at the end of August, with a very weak - and possibly fake - excuse, just as Hannity was getting deeper into the uranium one scandal.

that leaves UK without any MSM that is pro-Trump, even to the extent Fox is.

no way do I believe it was pulled because of poor viewer numbers. there are cable channels getting almost no viewers that never pull out.

29 August: BBC: Sky stops broadcasting Fox News in UK
Sky is to stop broadcasting Fox News in the UK after low audience figures, the media firm has said.
21st Century Fox, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch, said the channel was being withdrawn as it was not commercially viable.
The decision was not related to Fox’s takeover bid for Sky, a source told the BBC...
Sky stopped broadcasting the US television network in the UK from 4pm on Tuesday...

The source said that Fox News had about 2,000 average daily viewers. The costs of distributing the US network in the UK meant it was not in 21st Century Fox’s commercial interests to continue, the source added.
However, figures from the Broadcaster’s Audience Research Board (Barb) suggest that Fox News’ average UK daily viewing figures were nearly 60,000 per day this year...

I recall David Letterman saying to the effect in his monologue, days after Bill Clinton was re-elected - “we elected a womanizer and a liar....and we are OK with that.”

What gets me is that they paid $5.6-million for a fake dossier. It would seem like that someone just walked up to Fusion GPS and asked what they’d charge for a fake report, and they just made up some fantastic number and figured that the idiot DNC guys would never pay that. And the DNC idiots said fine....they’d pay it.

It’s a fantastic amount of money....for a fraudulent report. It’s like the Hitler-diaries of the 1970s...huge amount of money paid for them, and totally fake. Frankly, I don’t see how Fusion GPS survives on.

So the narrative is now “the end justifies the means”. Actually, that’s been the case for any extreme political viewpoint for decades.

those two are probably smart enough to distance themselves from the Clintons... I think the fact that you are not seeing James carvel probably tells you how much trouble that Hillary and bill are in. I always felt that James carvel was in charge of the fixers for Bill when he was in the white house . I also figure that he is smart enough to of steered clear of this scandal after he guided the Clintons out of the scandals of bills presidency.

Hillary really hired some psychopathic shits for her A-team. Fallon is one; Rhodes, another (or did he just get hired by Obama/Jarrett to be a Fallon sellout?).

I don’t think Hillary had anyone on her staff who wouldn’t have made a “Good German” back in the old days. Defend the Bunker until the end, and then lie about the past anyway.

Don’t know where Davis is holed up, but Carville was reportedly trying out for a job as a “Walker” on “The Walking Dead” series.

Hillary might not be to far behind for that job position too.

Didn’t Lanny Davis and Bill Clinton but some of the onus back on Hillary for losing? They said it was a lack of polling. Hillary suggested Bill was old fashioned in his approach to campaigning. And wasn’t Davis outside HRC’s inner circle?
