I would not object except for one factor. When the users have toked themselves into befuddled unemployabilty, they will have their habituation called a disease or illness, and sit back collecting a living off of MY tax dollars.

Guarantee to me that it won’t happen and I’ll go along.

They are already doing drugs (both legal and illegal) if they want. And if you want to go on the dole, one of the easiest ways to get SSDI++ (our tax dollars) is to claim alcohol addiction is causing you to be disabled. That being said, I’m more than perfectly fine putting drug AND alcohol testing on people on the dole.

C’mon now. Are you telling me that people who have access to alcohol can’t do the same thing to themselves? I’ve been smoking since I was 14 and I’d consider myself a pretty productive member of society at age 45 who holds conservative views on most issues. But on this one, we just need to let people do their own thing b/c weed does help with chronic pain and nausea and when compared to the side effects from opioids, its much less destructive.
