One day after Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake delivered a rebuke of the president on the Senate floor, Donald Trump told reporters Flake did the right thing by not running for reelection in Arizona.
He was against me from before he ever knew me, Trump told reporters Wednesday. He wrote a book about me before I ever met him, before I ever heard his name.
His poll numbers are so low in Arizona that he couldnt win, he continued. And I dont blame him for leaving, I think he did the right thing for himself.
Trump took some additional shots at Flake, calling his book horrible and alleging that he thought the senator was a Democrat when he first heard him talking on TV.
In fact I remember the first time I saw him on television I said, I assume hes a Democrat, is he a Democrat? and they said, Hes a Republican,' Trump recalled. I said, thats impossible.'
Hes done terribly for the great people of Arizona, a state that likes Donald Trump very much, and he would have never won, Trump concluded. This way he can get out somewhat gracefully
I wish him well.

Too funny.
Classic Trump.
So did I
Who would know otherwise.
Telling Corker that he couldn’t win dogcatcher is classic too.
No one knows how to deal with him, but I will tell you, if you’re from New York, you know exactly where he’s coming from.
Seems to be quite a problem in Arizona.
Well, Snowflake votes like one.
This country would be better for it.......
If you just read the speech on the Senate floor, you’d swear it came from Nancy or Chuck.
If you just read the speech on the Senate floor, you’d swear it came from Nancy or Chuck.
Now why dont you and your friend Obama go get yer shinebox, Flake. Beat it!
Man...if this is what winning feels like, I want MORE!
Easy mistake, or not........
The first time anyone hears McCain, they assume hes Manchurian.
This is why I LOVE Donald Trump..he is so awesome, he just says what’s on his mind..heck I thought Flake was a Democrat too, he talks like one, acts like one and votes like one
Jeff Flake and John McCain won’t visit the Prescott area, a Trump stronghold. They know they will be given the cold shoulder.
Flake and Maxine Waters sound exactly the same when it comes to how they feel about Trump. And when it comes to their politics, they’re not that far apart, and McCain is probably giving them lessons.
LOL, he was.
I love this President!
