A second woman has accused former President George H.W. Bush of groping her.
Jordan Grolnick, a New York actress, said that she has a similar story to the one Heather Lind shared about the former president fondling her during a photo op, according to Deadspin.
Bush apologized through a spokesman in a statement earlier Wednesday. The statement said that “on occasion, he has patted women’s rears in what he intended to be a good-natured manner” and routinely tells a joke.
“To anyone he has offended, President Bush apologizes most sincerely,” the statement said.
Lind wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post reported by The Daily Mail on Tuesday that Bush "assaulted me while posing for a... photo."
"When I got the chance to meet George H. W. Bush four years ago to promote a historical television show I was working on, he sexually assaulted me while I was posing for a similar photo. He didn’t shake my hand. He touched me from behind from his wheelchair with his wife Barbara Bush by his side. He told me a dirty joke,” Lind wrote.
Please don't take this as a defense of the Bushies (it isn't), but I hope folks recognize this #metoo thing for what it is: a massive effort on the left to raise hysteria among women to effect massive social change...and not for the positive.

It’s going to take a concerted effort by normal women to quash this garbage. My wife is as red-blooded American as they come, and she’s pissed off about all of this. On the one hand she does not condone this behavior by men. On the other hand, the left has made racism and misogyny their causes celebre to the point that white men are being cowed into subservience.

I believe this sort of thing will backfire on them. This belittles the feminist’s cause. Most people don’t believe a 93 year old man in a wheel chair is intentionally trying to grope women.
I also am not a fan of the Bushes, but have to say that many very elderly men lose their inhibitions in late age. Just ask any nursing home attendant.
