They should terminate, on the spot, ANY government official who even SUGGESTS anything like that should not be made public.
I’d like a law saying that nothing can be made secret for more than 10 years. Everything should be known, and sooner rather than later. the ONLY exceptions should be for actual technology in use or agents in the field.

Enough of this b.s. It’s been 50+ years, and the CIA/FBI is still censoring what the American People have every right to know. Gee. I wonder why. The civil servants who have been "working" on reviewing these files for decades don't want to lose their jobs. Perhaps by releasing 2800 of the remaining 3100 files it will at least mean we can cut the staff from 2,000 full time people down to 700 or so in the Department of JFK File Redaction.
