Apparently, it’s not the weed that makes Woody hate Trump. It’s much deeper than that. Or is Woody so shallow that his actions are the result of feeling the pressure from whoever his peer groups are? He’s not a leader but in his mind, he is a major league champion of worthy causes. A useful idiot, if you will. Think Michael Moore or Jane Fonda. Woody would be honored if Hanoi Jane were to acknowledge his ‘exemplary’ work in political activism; something he will probably never grow out of.
Woody's character's buddy asks Woody (as part of their banter) "Hey, what's with all the adults having sex with these underage kids?" Woody's character responds "I don't know; sexy kids."

I realize an actor is not necessarily the character he or she plays but they do have a choice in taking or passing on a role. This was a play written by a friend of Harrelson's.
Hollywood (I know, this was a theater) keeps pushing their perversion until it's acceptable. This is the "big one" for them.
It took me a few seconds to get the facts straight from the web. The play was “Bullet for Adolf” and Harrelson co-wrote and directed it. The character Zach is a barely disguised Harrelson. The actor who played Zach was so much like Woody my memory swapped the two of them out.
As if Woody ever needed a “reason” to burn a blunt! Spare me, you phony you!
