President Trump Vows to Release 'ALL' JFK files after Bending to Intel Groups He Mistrusts

President Trump said that he will release “ALL” of the remaining John F. Kennedy files, after being forced by U.S. spy agencies – of which he has been leery – to withhold thousands of still potentially sensitive documents.

"After strict consultation with General Kelly, the CIA and other agencies, I will be releasing ALL JFK files other than the names and addresses of any mentioned person who is still living," Trump tweeted. "I am doing this for reasons of full disclosure, transparency and in order to put any and all conspiracy theories to rest."

The National Archives on Thursday released 2,800 once-classified records related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Behind the scenes of the much-anticipated release, Trump and his White House lawyers were purportedly until the last minute going back and forth with U.S. intelligence officials over their requests for additional redactions.

And the requests irritated Trump, who continued to resist signing off on the request, according to an account by two White House officials who spoke only on condition of anonymity.

Late last week, Trump received his first official briefing on the release in an Oval Office meeting that included Kelly, his chief of staff; White House Counsel Don McGahn and National Security Council legal adviser John Eisenberg.

With that headline the AP is clearly trying to create a divide between POTUS and the Intelligence Community.

It is my understanding most of the Intelligence Community are on board with President Trump.

It’s mainly the “Political” appointees, many at the high levels, some in the mid levels, that are a loud powerful minority. They want to throw out a legally and lawfully Constitutional election.

Make no mistake that the people trying to do a Coup through lies, deception and deceit are absolute Traitors to our Republic. In George Washington days they would be hung for high treason and enemy collaboration.

President Trump seems to have underestimated the public interest in the files. Hopefully he learned from it and will declassify more info on important events.

And after all the files are released, they will show nothing new and Oswald will still be guilty. Then conspiracy hounds can scream about the “real” files are still hidden and/or how the ones released were doctored. Some things never change.

Guilty without proper legal representation and due process. That’s how we roll in the US.

“Guilty without proper legal representation and due process”

So do you have the same problem with people who say Mohamed Atta and his gang are guilty of flying a plane into the World Trade center north tower?

Trump said he will redact names and addresses. Nursing homes? 54 years is a long time

Watch you back Mr President. The CIA might have killed Kennedy.

Doesn’t matter—Poppy Bush and Daddy Cruz’s names will be redacted, with all other interesting parts.

It seems that Trump is (rightly) convinced that Deep State was STALLING.

He got sick of it, and thus decided to show the just who is boss.

1.2 million WWII vets are still alive...and that was 20 years earlier.

Plenty of late twenties and thirty plus year olds from 1963 are still alive.

President Trump is doing the right thing.

Anything that the government didn't really want you to have was burnt years ago.

Screw you! Trump woudn’t have needed to intervene if Deep State wasn’t holding back HUGE AMOUNTS of data.

I suspect the Deep State/Democrats don’t want people to know that it was the DEMOCRATS who organized and carried out the plan.

Imagine what it would be if the USMC had actually become BGen Donovan’s OSS (forerunner to the CIA). Would it have been still around...and/or would things have been a whole lot different...but surely not the same, in any case!

I trust potus to figure out who the deep state traitors are.

Me too - and I believe he gave them his ear so he could satisfy himself there was no actual national security issue and get the feel for who was saying what and why...his statement that keeping them secret wasn't in the spirit of the law was a telling comment and an assertion that "just because" ain't gonna fly anymore.
