I really only posted this because when I read Corey Lewandowski's name, I realized that I had been thinking Paul Manafort was the guy who supposedly pushed reporter Michelle Fields (and was subsequently sued by her).

Actually it wasn't Manafort who pushed her, it was Corey Lewandowski, who — as far as I am aware — is not in Robert Mueller's kill zone.

Can’t alert him and say he isn’t being bugged, even if inadvertently, at the same time.

Not even close to being the same.

Lewandowski makes a good point here.

“You would think that just from a security standpoint that they would come and brief the campaign and say ‘Look, we’ve got some concerns about this person,’”

Not if your goal from the beginning was to setup Donald Trump.

Didn’t Jiveanka push for hiring Manafort?

I listened, not viewing, to the Virginia ad with the truck and the Confederate flag. There appears to be a short burst of machine gun fire embedded with the sound of the truck.

I’m pretty sure Michelle faked most of it.

It’s obvious that the fbi did not want the Trump campaign to know about Manafort’s previous activities. In fact, it’s abundantly clear that the fbi hoped that Manafort’s role in Trump’s campaign would help validate the fake Trump-Russia collusion charges.

This deserves an inquiry. Question is, who is left at DOJ that isn’t either recused or would have been involved in allegedly keeping the Trump campaign in the dark about Manafort?

Corey Lewendowski did not “push” her either.

If you look at the video - it was a very simple grab of her upper arm, to keep her from running back up to Trump, after he had passed her by. It was sort of his job.

The Secret Service could have done a not so gentle job of stopping her.

She GREATLY over-exaggerated the incident to self-promote herself, and she had a history of doing such things. If there had been no video, she might have gotten away with it.

She also enlisted the help of another guy to LIE for her. He sort-of, almost agreed to corroborate her story, until the video showed HE was lying too, so they both got fired.(i think)

It’s too bad she’s such a ditz- she was hot.

I don’t think it is a good point at all. It is up to the campaign to decide who they hire. They didn’t do their homework enough. And an Obama FBI is going to help Trump vet? Not likely. It is on the administration to do this. Didn’t Sally Yates pen a letter to the Trump administration warning them of Manafort....being she is a Democrat, they ignored her. And now we have this mess. If Trump had kept Corey as campaign manager, this mess would also not be happening.

Ben Shapiro ended up being a complete jerk and I don’t follow his no trumper butt any longer. He is a traitor to the United States of America and hopefully will no longer be on Earth much longer. I used to love his writing back in the day but now he is dead to me. He is a liberal who was despicable to Trump and Corey.

Is it possible that Hillary and the DNC pushed Manafort forward to help
Trump get the nomination because they thought he was the easiest one to beat?

No

Manafort at the time was considered a hero for VOLUNTEERING to help prevent Ted Cruz, the RNC and GOPe from corrupting the GOP delegate selection and nomination process . He knew the rules and procedures cold.

After Trump received the nomination he had WON, Manafort left the campaign - work for which he was NOT BEING PAID

If Manafort was under a FISA warrant, then the FBI was indeed listening in to his communications with Trump and his campaign.

Yates warned about Flynn, not Manafort, but only after Trump was President elect. I think Corey’s point is more along the lines of what Mark Levin was saying last night - if the Manafort crimes are so horrible, why did they go unnoticed to 10+ years under the FBI, IRS, etc? A rhetorical question, of course.
