I think Bergdahl might be available. At least for a short time.

"Bitched slapped him back?"

Hogwash! How is weaselly double talk a bitch slap?

You can't "honor" the military and veterans while disrespecting the flag they served under!

Exactly....
Nothing the NFL can do now to right the
wrong.
My wish is the NFL sinks like the Titanic.
They can kneel in the locker room,
before, during, or after the anthem,
and apologize until the cows come home.
I will NEVER watch or support
the NFL....

Saints quarterback Drew Brees sought to find middle ground and the team kneeled before the anthem rather than during it.

Like finding the middle ground between sewage and clean water or between food and poison.

“Though several players have taken part in national anthem protests across the NFL, Saints quarterback Drew Brees sought to find middle ground and the team kneeled before the anthem rather than during it.”

Middle ground? Tooooooooo late.

Exactly right, they responded with BS double talk instead of just requiring the kneelers to stand.

The Saint’s management can go ride the fast train to Hell. Those divisive bastards must be shamed.

“I had hoped and prayed that the NFL would outlaw these disgraceful protests and wanted to give the commissioner and the owners a fair opportunity to do so. Their failure to act is a slap in the face to all of those who have served in uniform. Men and women have fought and died for the flag that the players are disrespecting,” he said.

Thank you Cmdr. John Wells... thank you from all of us who love our country...

I’m proud of John Wells. He was my husband’s attorney representing him against a multi-million lawsuit brought by the ACLU because they claimed my husband was misleading women out of having abortions. Mr. Wells is also pro-life and got them to eventually drop the lawsuit. Hurricane Katrina also helped because most all of my husband’s notes and files were destroyed. He is a man of principle.

”We will not allow Mr. Wells’ decision and subsequent media appearances to distract our players and organization from continuing to honor and support our military and veterans. We, as an organization, have decided to move on from this sad and divisive discourse and focus our attention on supporting our military and veterans.”

Divisive???

A person who has helped defend this nation and our Constitution, the same Constitution that protects our freedoms, regardless of race, is being divisive???

The Saints and the NFL are making huge fools of themselves by embracing this social justice BS, which is the same as embracing back door communism. Since this Navy Vet does not want any part of this agenda, they unjustly call him divisive.

If only these people running the NFL would open their freakin' eyes to how anti-freedom, anti-liberty, un-Constitutional, and anti-American, this social justice movement they have embraced, really is. Freakin' idiots!
