Guilty, Especially If Proven Innocent (rewritten)
Original Material | 11/12/2017 | By Laz A. Mataz

It read like something straight out of "The Onion".

"Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections."

So spake Mitt Romney, would-be King of the Establishment Republicans.

This one sentence shows a complete betrayal of all American mores and morals. In every walk of life -- law, elections, even reputations -- Americans have cherished the concept that one is innocent until proven guilty. This shows how dangerous Establishment Republicans are. They are every bit as dangerous as the most liberal Democrat.... and if given enough freedom to act, they would happily join Democrats in rounding up and killing Conservatives.

Right now, such a sentiment is reserved for Roy Moore, who clearly is the Establishment's second-worst nightmare (the first being Donald Trump).

Frankly, I'm surprised that Mitt Romney -- or as I like to call him, Mitt (R)Money -- didn't go a half-step further, and declare Roy Moore "Guilty, even if proven innocent."

The last year and a half have been the most revealing in all of American politics. We have certain proof that there is but one party in Washington, we have certain proof that they are more than happy to ignore voters' wishes and even the results of elections, we have certain proof that they will stop at nothing to thwart the common citizen and their will.

By way of offering more certain proofs of the above, note that it is Establishment Republicans -- not Democrats! -- that are lambasting Judge Roy Moore over unproven, four-decade-old allegations:

  1. Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) said "The allegations against Roy Moore are deeply disturbing and disqualifying. He should immediately step aside and allow the people of Alabama to elect a candidate they can be proud of."

Yes, that's right. McBrainCancer, just like Mitt (R)Money, wants a conviction in the court of public opinion, before any outlandish allegations are proven. Innocent until proven guilty is a concept foreign to him.
  2. Rep. Peter King (R-NY) said Alabama Republican U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore should “prove his innocence” of sexual abuse accusations or “step down.”

You heard him right. King wants Moore to prove a negative, which is an unattainable proof. He is to step down, before he is even elected, to perform a logical impossibility.

  3. Fervent Trump-trashing Senator Bob Corker blasted the people of Alabama on Saturday for voting to make Judge Roy Moore the Republican nominee for Senate, calling their decision “a bridge too far.”

Corker is not kidding. He demands the overthrow of the will of the people, a trait apparently in abundance among liberal Establishment Republicans.

  4. All the usual subjects showed up: Establishment Republicans like Mitch McConnell, Jeff Flake, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Rob Portman all pitched in:
  5. Lest you think, dear reader, that these are just some isolated examples of logical inconsistency and contempt of their constituents, consider: The entire National Republican Senatorial Committee withdrew support of Roy Moore. This is not a problem with a few wayward Republicans. This is a systemic rot.

It also seems the accusers have growing credibility problems:

  1. Roy Moore’s Accuser Worked for Democratic Leaders and Is Actively Campaigning for Moore’s Opponent, which shows both partisanship and the motive to lie.
  2. The mother of Leigh Corfman, who says that Alabama Senatorial Candidate Roy Moore tried to engage in a sexual encounter with her when she was 14, has contradicted a key detail of Corfman’s story.
  3. And now we are hearing of attempts to pay women to accuse Roy Moore of misconduct: Woman Says She Was Offered Big Money to Accuse Roy Moore of Misconduct

None of these rather obvious smear tactics appear to be working, of course. We, the citizenry, are much smarter than the Establishment believes us to be: The most recent Alabama polls show a double-digit lead for Judge Moore. Still, I am concerned. Even if Roy Moore is elected, I fear the Establishment will impeach him and eject him, based on unproven allegations. The Establishment no longer concerns itself with the petty concerns of the people.

The way things have and are unfolding reveals a very dangerous situation, a situation that shows that the Establishment is completely unrestrained by American customs, laws, and basic moral fairness. I suspect that the Establishment would even allow a systemic collapse of America. "Better to burn it and rule over ashes," they think, "then to lose power."

If citizens seize back government from these Establishment Elites, let us use their words against them. We will not consider any of the Republicans I cite as innocent until proven guilty. We will consider them guilty, and sentence them accordingly.

The swamp beneath us needs draining as well. We need better candidates in Republican primaries.

It’s all about cementing the Bush Plan for North Mexico in place.
They have been importing foreigners to steal our country from US.
They desperately do not want US to be able to restore the rule of law and reverse the demographic changes they have instituted through non-enforcement of laws and borders.
They invited 30 million people here to change the country against the will of the citizens and they do not want us sending them home.
Whatever it takes to keep us from electing anyone who sides with the citizens and the rule of law.

What they really don’t want is for us to keep our country.

Is it possible that those who pass as the "mainstream press" of today, representing the "old guard" of the Clintons, and not yet accepting that their "reign" is over, fit the description provided by Thomas Jefferson in the following words:
[A despotic] government always [keeps] a kind of standing army of newswriters who, without any regard to truth or to what should be like truth, [invent] and put into the papers whatever might serve the ministers. This suffices with the mass of the people who have no means of distinguishing the false from the true paragraphs of a newspaper." --Thomas Jefferson to G. K. van Hogendorp, Oct. 13, 1785. The only intelligent thing I’ve ever heard from Romney was when he was out here in Colorado and some reporterette asked him about legalizing marijuana. He said, can we talk about something of substance?

There is definitely an anti-American aspect to all of the “globalization” which has taken place in the last two (or three even) decades.

Yet China is being relentlessly built up. No immigration there. Just industrialization. But if you’re not Chinese, forget immigrating.

Our entire establishment, is completely sold out. Every single person.

“Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections.”

Actually, I agree with that to some extent.

Hillary! Clinton has never been convicted of anything but I have no doubt whatsoever about her criminality and evil character. I would not vote for her under any circumstance that I can imagine.

That said, having seen what was done to Herman Cain, I don’t give Moore’s accuser even a bit of credit.

I consider her to have the same credibility as Anita Hill.

Willard and McLame I think have a deep seated jealousy of Trump. Both those chumps lost their elections for president but Trump the outsider ‘trumped’ them both on that fact. Take comfort and joy in that result. Two backstabbing tasbards not worthy to lick the heels of President DJT.

Willard and McLame both knew they were supposed to lose their elections, that’s why they threw them.
The chumps were the people who voted for the Designated Losers.

Truth be told, most of the Senate needs to be repealed and replaced.

Alexander, Corker, Flake, Graham, Hatch, Heller, Hoeven, Murkowsky, McCain, Rubio, Gardner, Burr, Tillis, Portman, McConnell, Thune, Cornyn, Cochran, Isackson, Blunt, Johnson, Toomey, Capito, Rounds, Fischer, Collins, Wicker, Sasse, Ernst, Lankford, Young, Boozman and Shelby are all undocumented Democrats in R jerseys.
