...Roy Moore, a kindred spirit to the Washington outsider that Trump truly is, was poised to coast into a Senate seat for the great state of Alabama in the coming months before a wild and unverifiable accusation of sexual misconduct from thirty years ago surfaced last week. Now, as more and more evidence points to a setup by Mitch McConnell and his team of self preservationists, Moore’s supporters are doubling down on their enthusiasm for their candidate with a massive spike in donations.

“CNN Political Reporter Rebecca Berg reported that Roy Moore’s campaign chairman told them the campaign’s fundraising has ‘skyrocketed’ since the allegations against Moore broke and a source close to the campaign says they’ve raised more money in the last six days than they’ve raised online since the runoff in September.

“Berg said, ‘He’s been cut off by the NRSC and the Republican National Committee. But his campaign, its online grassroots fundraising, his Campaign Chairman Bill Armistead tells CNN has skyrocketed since these allegations since the national spotlight has shifted to their campaign. They have seen, according to a source close to the campaign, not Armistead, fundraising topping six figures on several days in a row. Armistead says that they have raised more in the last six days online than the total raised online since the runoff, September 26th. So, they are getting some gangbusters fundraising now.'”

That’s even if it is her yearbook. If she’s 56 I’m the tooth fairy. She looked to be in her late 60s, 70s. I’m guessing she’s 76 and she merely took 20 years off her actual age and took a photo of herself when she was in her 30s and pasted it into that book and it does look pasted.

I’m SO glad to see this! A couple of days ago I saw Monica Crowley on FOX (someone else was watching & I was walking through the room). Normally, I like Monica - very smart, well-reasoned comments. My reaction to what I saw made me want to slap her - seriously. She was in “snark” anti-Judge Moore mode. She very ‘knowingly’ declared he would have to drop out of the race in the next couple of days when he came up on the reality of “no money”. She said this more than once. Having seen people on FR and other conservative venues saying they had just sent JM $50 or $100, I thought Monica might have to eat crow ... I was hoping the funds were adding up and it looks like they are. It’s real b!tch slap to Mitch & the NRSC/RNC for starters. Fingers crossed Judge Moore wins - those from AL say he will & I hope that happens.

All this money and effort from Washington DC trying to defeat/displace Moore is disgusting. He may have some personal baggage, but what politician doesn’t? Many other states have sent people of dubious character and qualifications to Washington and that is their business.

If the allegations prove to be credible and verifiable, then let Alabama sort that out.

This is for the people of Alabama to decide. Washington should butt out.

The Birmingham News has been on a rampage against Judge Roy Moore for many years, especially since their alleged lesbian editor took over as the main editor for the 3 largest newspapers in the state of Alabama and Judge Moore came out against sodomite marriage.

I've met her and she is VERY butch.

Kyle Whitmire is an effete "columnist" there (though he's married) and he's written with more vitriol against Judge Moore than anyone, with the possible exception of John "I forgot I declared bankruptcy and I've got a gay brother" Archibald.

They hate Judge Moore and they have made it clear that they do.

Their jobs are also dependent on pleasing their editor. Those 3 papers are owned by Advance and they have laid off over 40% of their employees in the past few years and now only print 3 days a week.

So you have lesbians and leftists calling the shots and maybe a couple of people who are afraid to speak out in fear of losing their jobs.
