Well, Roberts swore in Obola four times: Twice in public, and twice in private using “some other” oath and some other book (other than the Bible) to deliver whatever that other oath was worded upon.

The DC swamp pollutes many politicians' views over time so I am not surprised that time in the Supreme Court would result in a shift in one's views. Roberts' shift looks similar to Souter's.

Roberts isn’t the first chief justice to be blackmailed and he won’t be the last. Based on some released white house tapes LBJ was blacking a supreme court justice over something they did in Mexico city.

The wording of the oath during the first inaugural was botched and redone the next day as a precaution, same oath.
The 2nd inaugural fell on a Sunday. We never have the public ceremony on a Sunday, so that happened on Monday. The oath delivered at that time was just for show, the one on Sunday is the one that counted.
Same oath. There is no silly conspiracy here.

I don’t understand why people find it easier to believe he’s was blackmailed than he’s just a smug idiotic son of a bitch that decided he wanted to uphold the law. Horses not Zebras. We’re not talking about Scalia here but a Young Chief Justice that we didn’t truly know yet.

I lean in your direction.
The evidence seems to point toward some sort of coercion. No longer do we have statesmen willing to put the interest of the nation ahead of their own. Other than Trump, we don't see people who will meet a threat of exposure by telling them to "go ahead and publish whatever you want and see if I give a damn."
