Yeah. I still love classic Floyd. Yes all but the very earliest albums are giving homage to the LSD insanity of Syd Barrett (who got a full share for years after he was unable to contribute). The music is about the human condition and is often brilliant.
I hate the politics of most of the musicians whose music I love.
I really don’t like the music of Uncle Ted Neugent. I love his politics. Cest la vie.
Yeah .. Ces't la Vie ... not a fan of Ted either, his music nor his brand of 'politics' ... frankly I think he's an all around a-hole ... but I *do* respect the success that he made for himself as an unapologetic American, and that's what it's all about, achieving the "American Dream" as it were, ya don't have like the guy but ya gotta respect what he's accomplished.
