Some have already spotted a winner, however. The American Spectator has named Mr. Trump as its official “Man of the Year,” and one who has stood fast and stayed on task during a trying year.

“Through it all he has held his head high, eyes focused on his goal of Making America Great Again. For which The American Spectator applauds this particular president of the United States — a man of decided courage, conviction — and consequence” writes contributing editor Jeffrey Lord in explaining the publication’s rationale.

He is Alpha all the way. No veering from the truth (hopefully). He is not a puppet as the Clintons, Bushes and the Obamas. Let’s hope he is surrounded by people of God and not like the other, satanists.

With all the roadblocks and nastiness that is thrown his way each day, I am impressed with how he keeps going. I give thanks every day that Trump is our president.

It should be pointed out that Abraham Lincoln, today considered perhaps our best president (and certainly in the top 5 on almost every such list) was reviled and hated by at least half the country during his time.

Like Trump, Lincoln inherited a divided country in which the two opposing sides literally hated each other.

Of course, many different circumstances. But the unbridled hate that President Trump faces every day from nearly half the country and certainly most of the establishment, is real.

Good article here about Emmett Tyrrell, founder of American Spectator magazine. He’s very pro Trump! (unlike National Review)

He really has got courage. He faces them all down and there have been many.

It’s because he believes in his self and he knows he is standing for what is right.

His is from the courage of his convictions.

I’ve heard some historians rate Harry Truman fairly high, which also contrasts with how he was viewed at the time.

The passage of time and perspective, can change how people and events are viewed down the road.

Obama is beloved by today’s liberals but will he be considered an historic president decades from now?

Truman’s loved by Marxists historians for helping spread comunism and for his non-elite ways. An objective look at his presidency show he was a Comunist who gave China to the reds, tried to give half of Japan to Russia, and intentionally lost the Korean war.

If Truman intentionally lost the Korean war, then why did he decide that we should intervene in the first place? If he was a communist, why didn’t he just let North Korea take over South Korea without a fight?

I thought the mag was NeverTrump.

That may be The Weekly Standard you're thinking of.

But I haven't seen The American Spectator in years.
