Illegal immigration, the gift that keeps on giving.

This is a prime example of your get more of what you reward (and get less of what you punish).

Vagrancy laws had a purpose and worked. Why should normal taxpaying citizens have to put up with these bums?

I know the ACLU and Courts have ruled against Vagrancy laws but we are seeing the direct result of those actions.

If you can not get them for “vagrancy” get them for urinating and defecating on the sidewalk (where the Hepatitis is coming from). Get them for drug use. Get them for public intoxication. And last, do not give them any money or support. Cut off the free stuff.

If they can create tents for 700, put a fence around it and call it a jail. They stay until they are willing to move on.

I think one of the reason the ACLU “wins” so many cases is because the elected official agree with them and so put up weak defense (and it helps if the judge is also a progressive).

They made plastic shopping bags illegal. The homeless no longer have reasonably safe place to dispose of their feces, which leads to Hepatitis epidemic.

So after eliminating all of the small plastic bags they are putting these people into one large plastic bag.

Sheesh.

In addition to the many excellent points about how the tent solution will not contain the problem, in my view, the Powers That Be are simply not interested in containment.

Remember the recent legalizing of contaminating of the blood supply which Moonbeam signed into place?

All who now receive transfusions are at grave risk for receiving a dire blood born disease - not only in California, but remember that that blood is transported elsewhere- and unless states or feds take measures to contain California-sourced blood products, we will be seeing disastrous results from this in very short order. I fear tents holding mass casualty deaths from illness rather than just the homeless ill.

“”About 20 people made their way to a bunk bed Friday in the tent that will house 350 single men and women””

WOW - 20 to a “a bunk bed” - they must have put in some pretty large bunk beds - it’s going to be pretty cramped when they fit 350 in one!!

All part of the plan. Turn big cities into 3rd world type countries. All part of the destruction of this country.

And now who will pay for all the resultant byproducts of housing men and women of low moral character in the same tents? They will start out life with the lowest quality DNA imaginable, and YOU get to pay for them!

It is not illegal to possess plastic shopping bags, but due to a law that California passed last year, it is illegal for stores to provide free plastic bags. When grocery shopping, customers need to bring their own reusable bags or purchase a bag, usual charge seems to be 10 cents a bag.

Yes, I know that. I was simply pointing out that the statement that plastic bags are illegal is completely false.
