Kari Bingen, Secretary of Defence for Intelligence (SDI), warned the two powers were making huge advances in their tech and were advancing on the US.
The findings came form an earth shattering report that claimed the US has rapidly fallen behind its rivals and must now decide if it wants to “lead the coming revolution, or fall victim to it”.
It added the situation had become so dire that there are not enough analysts to watch 180,000 ufos hurtling towards Earth from deep space.

Both countries as they are: vastly overestimated and overrated as powers.
I’m seeing an awful lot of propaganda along these lines.
Russia and China are nothing to be ignored, but they are not on the verge of unilateral ownership of the world either.
Russia and China will fight each other before they’d fight the US.
Are the Chinese and Russian automatons going to be much worse than the Democrat and Republican autocrats who try to dominate us now?
Just for the sake of argument, let’s say the Russians and Chinese develop weapons that wipe out every American.
Then what?
World peace?
Every problem solved?
Everybody is sitting in the park eating strawberries with cream?

Ah, the British press.
We’ll intercept them, reprogram them and they will be mowing our lawns and washing our cars. Bring them on.
Sounds a little like this:

The obvious answer to a lack of analysts is to transfer our missile defense system to mall game rooms manned by our children. One child assigned to 10 missiles will, in fact, be child’s play.
They will be invulnerable to attack since they are dispersed all over the country.
I believe that the original reason Russia came to the table for disarmament during the Reagan years was that his KGB assets brought back stories about the training our children were getting with digital games in defending against incoming missiles from space.
