Monday morning all three major broadcast networks, ABC, NBC and CBS failed to update their viewers with the news that ABC correspondent Brian Ross had been suspended over the weekend for his false “bombshell” report that led media reports Friday morning.
That false “scoop” took the networks by storm shortly before 11am EST last Friday morning and was talked about endlessly until the evening newscast on ABC News that night, several hours later.

Back in the good old days of the USSR, the state media never directly reported on industrial or transportation disasters. At least, the average Russian astute enough to decipher “the code” could figure it out; a seemingly irrelevant article on railroad safety precautions in Novosibirsk meant that there was a bad train wreck in Novosibirsk.
We just get lied to and the truth gets completely ignored, so in many ways the Soviet citizen was better informed than the average American is now.
They only had two options. Ignore the story, or express their deep disappointment that it was not true. So in their opinion, they took the high road.

Is it not possible that one would want to talk to the Russians IN ANTICIPATION of an election victory?
Obama did something similar in his campaign. Here’s Kim Strassel of the WALL STREET JOURNAL:
KIM STRASSEL: I think we are having a discussion that is absolutely divorced from reality this week. It is astonishing. Let me set the scene for you. It’s 2008. We are having an election. And candidate Obama, he’s not even president-elect, sends William Miller over to Iran to establish a back channel and let the Iranians know that should he win the election they will have friendlier terms.
Okay, so this is a private citizen going to foreign soil obviously in order to evade U.S. intelligence monitoring and establishing a back channel with a sworn enemy of the United States who was actively disrupting our efforts in the military in the Middle East.
So is that bad judgment? Is that a bad thing that happened? Back channels are completely normal. They happen all the time. Reagan did them. Obama did them. Everyone did. So I’m not quite sure why supposedly having, at least the president’s now elected, setting up a back channel with the Russians is somehow out of bounds.
WHERE’s THE OUTRAGE? WHERE’s THE INVESTIGATION?
They’re in stun mode.
Lying through omission.
How was he not fired?
I cannot accept that someone could make so many egregious errors and keep his job. Why?
Was it Brian Ross that found a TEA Party contributor with the same last name as the Gabby Giffords shooter?
He also went to Iraq and asked them to postpone the troop level agreement.
The Media works for the Deep State. The Media is an enemy of the Constitution and People of The United States.
The Media is Target Number One.
Brian Ross has been a biased lying propagandist for decades.
