The Republican National Committee is reinstating its support of Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore after initially cutting ties over allegations of sexual misconduct, The Hill confirmed on Monday.
Breitbart News first reported that the RNC had decided to step back into the race just hours after President Trump fully endorsed the candidate.
Two sources confirmed RNC's renewed support.
"We can confirm our involvement in the Alabama Senate race," an RNC official told The Hill.
A second source close to the RNC told The Hill that "the Breitbart story is real."
Trump endorsed Moore in a tweet that blasted out to millions of his followers as well as in a follow-up call aboard Air Force One, in which the president said, "Go get 'em, Roy."

They must have realized he’s likely to win.
They know Roy Moore will win.
Moore will absolutely win. He is the next senator from Alabama.
This can mean only one thing: the RNC internal polling shows Moore winning and they want to stop feeding the anti-swamp frenzy. They think this last minute move will stop Moore from attacking the swamp from the Senate floor. Let’s hope Moore’s first floor revenge speech zeros in on McConnell, Graham and McCain.

This is the RNC’s aw $hit moment! But If I were Moore I’d watch my back, because at this late date it could be a trick!
How can McConnell survive this debacle?
What we don’t know for sure is if Moore is guilty as suggested. What we do know is that the Dem candidate will support abortion at every opportunity.
I hope he doesn’t. We need a real Majority Leader.
