Steve Bannon rips Jeff Flake for $100 check to Doug Jones: 'If you're going to write a check...

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon mocked Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., for writing a $100 check on Tuesday to support Democrat Doug Jones in the special election contest to fill Alabama's empty U.S. Senate seat.

“Come on brother, if you’re going to write a check, write a check,” Bannon said at a rally for the Republican candidate, Roy Moore. “Support somebody.”

“Man, you are a total embarrassment,” he added.

Bannon went on to say Flake hasn’t been on board with Trump’s agenda from the beginning.

“Jeff Flake has done nothing but run the president of the United States down since the president won,” Bannon said. “And then he comes out at the last second and says ‘I’m going to give $100 to a Democrat.’”

Flake posted a picture to Twitter on Tuesday of a check made out to Jones’ Senate campaign with the memo “country over party.”

Flake received backlash for the photo, including from Sen. Ben Sasse, as some Republicans interpreted it as Flake endorsing Jones’ position on abortion.

Moore has seen his polling numbers recover in recent weeks after being accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct.

The Washington Post reported the initial accusations against Moore last month. In that report, four women, accused Moore of pursuing sexual and romantic relations with them when they were between the ages of 14 and 18, while he was in his 30s. Other women have come forward with additional allegations since then.

Moore has repeatedly denied the allegations and has resisted pressure from top Republicans, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, to drop out of the race.

Bannon's former boss, President Trump, offered Moore a critical endorsement this week, with the special election set to happen next week.

I watched Bannon warming up the crowd before introducing the Judge. What a great opening. He spoke for about 30 minutes and really let things fly. Bannon is one well-spoken bastard who doesn’t give a flying fig newton what the establishment thinks. If he ran for office, I think he’d win, but I prefer him working on the outside for Trump to scold, humiliate and embarrass the GOPe. Would there were dozens more Bannons the President could enlist in his uphill fight.

“country over party.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That is pretty funny, considering he has always put fraudulently documented foreigners over citizens.
Not just a turncoat but a cheap turncoat!
Trump is to RINOs like fumigation is to roaches. It even gets the ones hiding deep in the cracks and crevices.
There is a set of politicians who I'm pretty sure are controlled by strings, whether it's threats, blackmail, or they sold out for power sometime in the past in a deal with the devil.
Linda, Flakey, McCain, Romney and probably Ryan. It's not so much their traitorous positions - I fully believe they are ALSO weak men, but it's how WHEN they come out and do something, it doesn't really make sense even if they are weak and traitorous. It's more like they are following orders.
So I ask myself: What did Romeny sell out during his losing bid for the presidency? To whom did he sell out? What was the deal?
They ALL seem to be paying something off, probably for life.
Again, it's not the content of their lameness, it's the timing and symbolism, as if some Dem PR man has said 'activate Flake!' ... and out he goes writing a dumb symbolic check 'country over party.' I mean, it's insane even all he were was a weak kneed RINO. It just doesn't fit what someone would do, even if a loser, of his own free will and from his own imagination.
So flakey's getting something - either he's preventing something bad from happening to him, his reputation or his family, or he's fulfilling his end of an evil bargain. (Probably Roberts too.)
Probably they sought support or a favor from a globalist Mafia man who said 'someday, and it maybe never, I'm gonna ask for a favor' ... except ... it's not 'it might be never' it's 'a bunch of times and you'll jump like a trained dog carrying out what we tell you no matter how dumb you look.' And we'll let you do Republican stuff just often enough to give plausible deniability.
” ... and out he goes writing a dumb symbolic check...”
Has it been confirmed that the check was actually sent or actually cashed?
Indeed they could just shut up and do nothing but they keep opening their mouthes in favor of democrats. Reminds of that Nevada Rep that Don Corleon had set up with a hooker
What a sad, petulant, petty, little piss-ant bitchboy POS Flake turned out to be.
How in the Hell do we keep letting these libtard RINOs slip past us and get into positions of power?
