Causes?
Not even discussion or speculation of causes, on the news.
I’ll bet the arson investigators are going full bore, seeking witnesses, videos, etc. And keeping silent about it.
I wonder about the cause as well. Obviously, as is typical out there the Santa Ana winds are a factor in spreading the fire, but it sounds like there were multiple small fires in different locations that started everything. Very reminiscent of the recent Napa Valley fires.

Infobabe on FBN said that the Fire Dept. doesn’t know how the big one started.
I'm a SoCal native. I've witnessed spontaneous combustion ocurring before my eyes, during times like this.
