This is a very interesting article but there is one main difference between the nazis and the current crop of leftists. Nazis were fiercely nationalistic, today’s left is fiercely anti-nationalistic. The nazis loved the fatherland, the American left HATES America.

Good point, but The left are nationalistic in their own way, eg the black panther leftists are nationalistic on behalf of blacks.

True. It is the most important thing to do. Improve oneself, and everyone around you will be improved, hopefully.

It is really all we can do, is try to be virtuous ourselves. As Ray Bradbury stated, everything in life can be a distraction and all products are designed by marketers to be addictive—to keep us from true wisdom and profound relationships. Use everything in moderation and only for the benefit of the Soul.

I didn't see any interview, but I, too, stopped voting Democrat forever when Bill Clinton was nominated and later elected. That was when I realized that the horrors that have happened in other countries under socialism can happen here, too. It was frightening to realize that. And under Obama, we came very close to seeing those horrors.
