Alarmist scientists have been caught red-handed tampering with raw data in order to exaggerate sea level rise.
The raw (unadjusted) data from three Indian Ocean gauges – Aden, Karachi and Mumbai – showed that local sea level trends in the last 140 years had been very gently rising, neutral or negative (ie sea levels had fallen).
But after the evidence had been adjusted by tidal records gatekeepers at the global databank Permanent Service for Mean Sea Level (PSMSL) it suddenly showed a sharp and dramatic rise.
The whistle was blown by two Australian scientists Dr. Albert Parker and Dr. Clifford Ollier in a paper for Earth Systems and Environment.

The damage to Science from the warmist alarmists is perhaps the greatest cost of this film-flam act.
In real science, they gather data and adjust the theory to fit the data. In climate “science”, they alter the data to fit the theory. That makes it politics (or even religion), not science.
Jail for them.
They would do better taking shovels to the top of Mount Everest to knock down the peak a few feet... The elevation between Mount Everest’s peak and Sea Level, hasn’t changed since Hillary Clinton got her first name.
Losing a job is nothing. Imprisonment for billion dollar fraudulent theft should be at stake.
I have been putting my boat into the same area in Long Island Sound for 41 years. Hight tide lines are the same. The same rocks jut above the water at high tide the same as they did 41 years ago. Same-same. No difference. Just the vicious lies are different.

Michael Crichton’s book, “State of Fear” is about scientists faking sea rising data. Fantastic read! He died way too young.
Why are the scales so different in the adjusted and unadjusted graphs shown in the article? The scale on the unadjusted shows sea level at ~ 1700 mm while in the adjusted graph it is 7600! That means the sea level after adjustment is ~ 4.5 times higher. How does that make sense?
The difference in the trend lines of sea level over time changes because they expanded the data sets used to run the regression analysis.
Actually, Everest is still getting taller.
Now that’s a measurement!
Two things that always turn out to be a hoax: Spray painted graffiti slurs, and alarming sea or temp rises. The truly efficient hoaxer would spray paint sea level rises on black students’ dorms.
Crichton was a darling of the political class, until he wrote “State of Fear”.
Then they killed him.
