Why Trump is right in recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital
Fox News ^ | 12/7/2017 | Alan Dershowitz

President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is a perfect response to President Obama’s benighted decision to change American policy by engineering the United Nations Security Council Resolution declaring Judaism’s holiest places in Jerusalem to be occupied territory and a “flagrant violation under international law.” It was President Obama who changed the status quo and made peace more difficult, by handing the Palestinians enormous leverage in future negotiations and disincentivizing them from making a compromised peace.

It had long been American foreign policy to veto any one-sided Security Council resolutions that declared Judaism’s holiest places to be illegally occupied. Obama’s decision to change that policy was not based on American interests or in the interests of peace. It was done out of personal revenge against Prime Minister Netanyahu and an act of pique by the outgoing president.

They Palestinians would never under any circumstances make Peace with the Israelis for any reason whatsoever, short of driving all Jews into the sea - those that remained alive after the others were murdered.

Exactly. A breed of savages so virulent and vitriolic their own co-religionists have no use for them.

Because reality is reality.

We have been spending a great deal of time and energy the past few decades trying to say that two plus two does not equal four.

Well, it does.

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. It does not matter who wants to deny it.

Michael Savage is, at this very moment, trashing Trump's move to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. I have always questioned Savage's religious loyalty. Most times, he seems more supportive of non-Jewish religions than Judaism. He wants to know WHY Trump chose now to do it. He claims that it is a smokescreen to divert peoples' attention away from Trump's political problems. He claims that it will cause more troubles for Israel (not according to my Israeli neighbor, who cheered wildly when I told her what I heard on the radio about Trump's declaration). He claims it will tick off Muzzlimes.

Since when have Muzzlimes NOT been ticked off at every little thing? They are the original snowflakes.

I can't stand to listen to Savage any more now; now he is accusing "ultra Orthodox" of being behind this. He cannot accept that it is a long-overdue wrong being righted. I am now turning Savage off, because on Jewish matters, he usually offers up a twisted vicious viewpoint born of some perceived slight to him by Jews in the past. It is obvious that there is some kind of pathology involved in his constantly putting down New York Jews particularly and religious Jews in general.
