The dems have everything to gain by getting rid of Franken

The dem governor can replace him and then the replacement will run in 2018, and, unlike franken he or she will not be tainted so they have a good chance to win.

This allows the dems to look like they are not being hypocritical (even though they are) so they can go after Trump and Roy Moore by demanding the GOP get rid of them.

Interesting chess strategery. All I know is the RNC has so many ready-made campaign videos for next year. Nanzi Pelosi telling Meet the Press “show me the accusers” then “oh wait, one of them called me, that’s different”. Gillibrand praising and hugging Clinton, then calling him a predator when it was convenient. Franken being praised as the swellest guy on earth and a champion for women. Just goes on and on...

>> they now want to use #metoo as a hammer to bludgeon Republicans in the 2018 election to try and get the Senate and House back. <<

Good luck with that. Most of these pervs that have been exposed are card-carrying socialist Democrats in Hollyweird.

I think Moore’s a creep. It was well known in a small town that in the 80s he was hanging around a mall hitting on girls half his age. Why so many people on this board believe this creep is beyond me. Or maybe they just don’t care.

Where is the proof for 40 year old allegations?

The people of Alabama will decide. Not me or you.

It was well known in a small town that in the 80s he was hanging around a mall hitting on girls half his age.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that that had pretty much been rebutted: the mall operators had no knowledge of any situation like this, much less that he had been "barred" from the mall. To the best of my recollection, only one individual (maybe two) had come forward making this claim, and there was no police paperwork indicating any such reports or any "bar" against him being at the mall.

You may not care for it, but, during that time period, there was nothing unusual about 30 year old males dating 17-19 year old young women. I had (and still have) numerous older relatives who fit that description. Heck, when I was 17 years old .. and I'm a male .. I was dating a 28-year old. My parents knew about ... her parents knew about it. There were a lot of jokes about robbing the cradle, but it never bothered either of us.

Here you go AL FRANKEN and all of the numbnuts in MN that voted for you. I will post this a million times over the web if need be. You actually had the gall to have a photographer.

He actually had the gall to do this in front of the official USO tour photographer, and this photograph was included on a CD given to all USO cast and crew at the end of the tour as a memento.

Franken will still be in he Senate on Dec 12...

He is going to remain in office long enough so that by Minnesota law the special election to replace him won't be held until November 2019, which for this year would be the end of May. That way the Governor's temporary replacement pick will have almost two years in office before a special election to serve out Franken's seat until 2020.

If he resigns now, the statute requires a special election in November 2018.

There's really a simple 3-word answer to "Franken resigned, _____ should too"

Franken was GUILTY
