Of course he poked his “usual” fun at the press corps present at the “back” of the room. But something I noticed about this telecast ... they showed the audience ... many parts of it and often. You could SEE and FEEL the size of the crowd. This is what they did not do during the campaign. Great speech, he’s unlike any “politician” we’ve ever seen. Reagan was darned good, a real orator, but this guy is better, and he’s far from an orator! He connects with the people. (He connects with me!).
