Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey wants gas station owners to post warnings at the pump that say customers are spurring climate change by filling up their tanks.
The idea came up in oral arguments in Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Tuesday in a case challenging Exxon Mobil's record on addressing the threat of global warming and the attorney general's claim that the company misinformed the public over the threat.
Justice Frank Gaziano asked how gas stations are involved in "deception or fraud related to climate change."
"Because, your honor, the gas sold at those gas stations is among the premier contributors to global warming," Healey's lawyer, Richard Johnston, responded.
Healey has asked for information from Exxon related to the marketing of fossil fuels in Massachusetts, "including advertisements, in particular," Johnston said.
"So, I own Joe's gas station on the corner, I'm a franchisee, and you're telling me that I have information that relates to how Exxon Mobil, this gi-normous corporation, has marketed and lied on climate change?" Gaziano asked.

I’d recommend against that on one basic premise.
There are a lot of sick people on the streets these days. Putting a warning on gas pumps would be seen by them as giving some sort of license to harm anyone filling their car with that awful gas, that’s killing the planet.
This IS NOT a good idea.
I want all of the ignorant liberal democrats to have their citizenship revoked and all of them deported.
But...you don’t always get what you want which is a lesson they need to be taught on a daily basis.

Back in the day, gasoline retailer Fina’s slogan was, “Work hard, sell a good product, and don’t try to kid anybody.”
Then they came out with “Pink Air” for tires to keep them from deteriorating. Later, they introduced PFLASH, an ingredient in FINA gasoline that would improve driving pleasure by “turning red lights green,” “smoothing out rough roads,” “improving the food at roadside restaurants” and “making you feel less sorry you ever got a driver’s license.”
So I learned at an early age to believe everything you read at gas stations.
Good idea. The liberals can fix this thing all by themselves if they’re serious. If ALL the liberals (globally) would simply quit using cars, trucks, buses, boats, trains and planes, quit buying manufactured or shipped goods, stop using commercial crops or canned or frozen goods, stop using electricity, coal, gas & oil, the whole problem goes away. They have the power within their own ranks. Will they do it? Will they save the planet?
It’s funny how all substances, natural and man made, cause cancer in California.
As a follow on to this she’s recommending suing automobile owners.

Women are generally meant for the home and the family. God designed them that way. They are generally not meant to lead outside the home nor especially to lead men. Women are commanded in the New Testament of the Bible to be under subjection to the man.
