The first of four adults charged in January with the hate crime of a white special needs 18-year-old has been freed on probation in what many people are likely to believe is a rather light sentence compared to the crime.
Brittany Covington narrated a Facebook Live video showing the special needs teen being tortured and humiliated in the Chicago apartment she shared with her sister Tanishia, who is still behind bars in this matter along with co-defendants Tesfaye Cooper and Jordan Hill.

The crimes here are— grand theft auto (they stole a van first) kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon (knife), torture, beating and a hate crime enhancement.

Didn’t this bacon guy actually break windows and damage property? Nevertheless this kidnapper should be doing a minimum of 15 years. It pains me to see the punishment being determined by the status of the victim and not the actual crime. Killing a homeless man, is the same as killing a child, or even a cop.
Three time loser sentenced under habitual offender law with a dash of hate crime thrown in for good measure. Yes the sentence was harsh but there were other factors in play.

Yet to be fair you are leaving out the past history of this guy. He was not new to crime, and was taken into account.
Bacon guy is white,video girl is black...We are coming to a point where blacks and Hispanics are hurting whites or killing them and there won’t be any punishment or trials...

There should be federal hate crime charges against all the criminals that did this.
The deep state is not just in the Federal government, folks. It is in the state and local governments as well and this judge is yet another example.
