Federal judge deals blow to prosecution in Bundy standoff by warning of mistrial

A Nevada federal judge raised the possibility of a mistrial Monday in the 2014 standoff at the Bundy ranch, citing the failure of prosecutors to provide the defense in a timely fashion with a slew of documents.

U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro also dismissed the jurors, who had returned Monday to the Las Vegas courthouse for the first time since Nov. 29, and told them to return Dec. 20.

She said the government’s failure to share documents, information and witness names with defense attorneys in a timely fashion was “sufficient to undermine the confidence in the outcome of the trial,”

Judge Navarro is going against her ownbias. She knows the jig is up. Many instances of Prosecurial misconduct. Judge would look like a bigger idiot than she is. At this point it is so clear that Judge has little choice. Major Civil Rights violations. A dead man(martyr). Too much corruption in the BLM and FBI.

She is up against the breaking of the rules by the prosecutors, the breaking of the law.

Its going to be tough for her to let this case go forward, although it is possible she will.

Supporters of the Bunkerville defendants including the Bundy’s are increasingly confident she will drop this thing in the end.

I find it difficult to believe that she is giving it up given how in-the-tank she was previously.

Bundy’s should be suing her for prejudice and civil rights violations.

Now that she can no longer support the illusion that the defendant might be guilty, her only way out now is to dismiss the charges.
