A 41-year-old San Francisco plumber who was on a losing streak at local casinos and faced eviction for not paying his rent was found guilty Monday of slaughtering a family of five inside their Ingleside neighborhood home after targeting them for robbery.
On its seventh day of deliberations, the San Francisco Superior Court jury found Binh Thai Luc, an undocumented Vietnamese immigrant with a violent criminal past, guilty of five counts of murder in the massacre of the Lei family on March 23, 2012. ---------------------------- Before the killings, Luc was convicted in 1998 of committing an armed robbery at a Chinese restaurant in San Jose. After he served eight years in San Quentin State Prison, officials handed him over to federal immigration authorities for deportation back to his home country of Vietnam.
Vietnamese authorities, however, refused to provide Luc with travel documents, and he was released from custody as required by federal law.

All we need to do is put him on a Vietnamese commercial airliner home. If they want landing rights they can return the deported Vietnamese.
Throw him out of a CH-46, like I never saw happen. Ever.
In August 2017, the Seattle City Council voted unanimously to make it illegal for landlords to refuse prospective tenants based only on a criminal background check (only adult sex offenders can be automatically excluded).
Incredibly, our former mayor, who resigned after multiple allegations of homosexual abuse with minors, was still in office when that passed!
In 2016, the Council also passed a “First Come, First Served” rule, which means a landlord must rent to the first “qualified” applicant.
The Council has also passed fee and deposit restrictions on rentals.
Unsurprisingly, civic leaders and groups are now publicly outraged that Seattle has suddenly become the 5th most expensive rental market in America!
They can’t be to picky, if the applicants are part of a protected, privileged group like lgbtlmnop, ILLEGAL ALIEN, trans-mutant or just claims to be a ?????, the landlord could be hit with a discrimination lawsuit.
Once the person or ??? is in they can quit paying rent and it will take MONTHS to get them out, in CA Property owners have NO RIGHTS and are assumed guilty until proven innocent.
True, but there are International Court remedies.
America can refuse to admit anyone with a passport or visa from the violating country.
Obama never enforced our side of law.
Trump has threatened to block entries from several countries that won't accept their criminal citizens back, like Somalia, but as far as I know, no one from those violating countries has ever been blocked from entering the USA.
Any landlord who admits to rejecting an applicant for ANY reason, isn't shrewd enough to make it in the business.
You never tell anyone why they've been rejected. You simply award the lease, contract, or job, to the best candidate, and shut your mouth.
Any shrewd, experienced landlord, could work around those Seattle rules and regulations. You have to, if you want to stay in business in the real estate game.
I come from a long line of landlords, business owners, and bosses, so maybe it’s just instinctual to me.
Thanks Pining_4_TX.
No, today the media would "spin" that thusly:
"Nymphomaniac accosts high gov. official"
Regards,
And how does one prove that one is the first applicant?
I'd tell every applicant: "Sorry, I've already found a new renter - indeed, 'it' is a Black LBGQB etc. - all in keeping with the "1st Come"-rule, so, tough luck! But maybe I can help you anyway. Let me show you the apartment anyway. I might know of a friend with a virtually identical apartment to rent out, so come and take a look at this one anyway. Maybe we can work something out (wink, wink)."
Regards,
Perhaps Air America could arrange transport. With or without a chute!
