Powerline Blog ^ | December 12, 2017 | STEVEN HAYWARD

…There is little chance they can hold this seat in 2020 (unless Republicans nominate Roy Moore again). Meanwhile, Jones deprives them of their favorite talking point that Republicans are all drooling knuckle-dragging morons. Worse, it means Al Franken will likely have to go through with his resignation after all…

I’ll not he surprised if Franken says that others are urging him to stay on and so he will NOT resign after all. We are talking about the.modern quasi commie fascist new age delusional Democrat party ynow.

Except Franken will be replaced by another ‘Rat.

If Moore had won, it would have been up to the Senate to sort out his alleged problems. Even if they’d expelled him, Governor Ivey would have replaced him with another Republican. That option is now gone.

Franken has to leave.

Yeah, Al is probably yesterday's biggest loser (aside from the American People). Now he has to follow through on his promise to resign. LOL!

True, but I can’t think of another Rat I’d rather see suffer than Al.

No doubt that Moore would have been hog-tied and shackled by non stop “ethics” investigations.

No doubt that Franken would have rescinded his resignation had Moore won.

But get ready for Unintended Consequences...

Can you say “Senator Keith Ellison?” ... without choking I mean.

If a Mooselimb traitor can occupy the Oval Office for eight years, why not a Senate seat from a blue state?

No, he won't resign.

And the Democrats are going to go harder now against the GOP.

This radical anti male bashing feminism was a tactic to get rid of Moore. It worked. we won't be hearing anymore "stories" about gropers. On to the next tactic.

Al Franken stays.

Al Franken will keep his seat because fhe GOPe is not asking him to leave like Democrats asked Moore to leave. Watch it

The precedent has been set that character assassination works vs actual rape language such as abortion

This is a very dark day of hypocrisy and mass media worship in America

Al Franken saying he will resign is like all the Hollywood elites saying they will move to Europe and Canada if Donald Trump wins. Nothing ever comes of those promises.

“No, he won’t resign.

I agree. The dems will feel emboldened, the GOP will do absolutely nothing to stop them, and they will come after Trump with all sorts of #metoo crap.

And I don’t think Franken is going anywhere.

“.......it means Al Franken will likely have to go through with his resignation after all…”......

I wouldn’t be too hasty with that thought.

On one hand, Franken may “honor” his word and actually step down. However, “Honor” is not something the demodummies have.

On the other hand, now the demodummies can scream how they live on their higher “moral” ground and that Moore lost because of his supposed “misconduct” some 30 years ago.

Either way the only good thing that MAY come of the Moore loss is that Franken may actually leave.

“The dems will feel emboldened, the GOP will do absolutely nothing to stop them, and they will come after Trump....”

They are already doing just that. Since the sexual misconduct accusations worked on Moore, the demodummies will now go after Trump ten fold. They want his hide nailed to the barn door and will do anything, everything possible to achieve that goal. Here we go..........

They’re going to replace Al Franken with another liberal, and elect a third liberal in 2018. So what’s different?

“There is little chance they can hold this seat in 2020 (unless Republicans nominate Roy Moore again)”

The scariest thing is that I haven’t seen convincing evidence these allegations were true; the last related story was that the high school yearbook signature was exposed as a fraud.

WHAT MAKES PEOPLE THINK THE DEMS AND THEIR MEDIA WON’T DO THIS TO EVERY REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE IN EVERY RACE IN THE FUTURE?
