The Co-Dependents of the "Independent" Counsel
Steyn Online ^ | December 14, 2017 | Mark Steyn

9) The above text explains why Mueller hired the same-old-same-old Hillary crowd for his supposed "independent" investigation into Trump: The same people had to run both investigations because otherwise the new investigators would discover the shenanigans of the old investigators. Putting Strzok and Page on the team was the FBI's way of protecting itself.

10) Nobody should accord this wretched and corrupted pseudo-investigation the figleaf of respectability. Even in the federal justice system, no successful prosecution by this conflicted team would withstand appeal. As to the ostensible crime they're investigating - "collusion" (which, in fact, is not a crime) with the Russians - so far:

a) The only people improperly colluding with foreigners are Fusion GPS, the Hillary campaign, the FBI Hillary investigation, the FBI Trump investigation and the Associate Deputy Attorney-General, all of whom are colluding with Brit spook Christopher Steele to get the goods on Trump.

b) The only person colluding with the Russians is Christopher Steele, former head of "the Russia house" at MI6.

A must read! Mark Steyn lays out the stunning perversity of everything we have learned about the Mueller "investigation" and its reliance upon the very FBI team which exonerated Hillary and her cabal.

Seriously Flynn and Manafort should be laughing at anyone from the DOJ, tell them to go pound sand.

Great read. Consider reading Pat Buchanan’s article today as well. The real story is now emerging. The systemic corruption is staggering, it has metastasized, and with the divisions in our country, I really think we are in great trouble.

We all know the Mueller show is a sham. He and his gang have been exposed as corrupt and criminal.

But so far, all our side has to show for it is collective outrage.

Meanwhile, the Mueller Train and His Band of Merry Thugs rolls on...........

Trump accused of "colluding with Russia" is desperate Hillary's lifeline......in her fervid mind
the only way she can explain losing an election she bought and paid for. A s Steyn insightfully wrote:

The only people improperly colluding with foreigners are (A) Fusion GPS, (B) Hillary's permanent campaign, (C) the FBI Hillary investigation, (D) the FBI Trump investigation, and, (E) the Associate Deputy Attorney-General, all of whom are colluding with Brit spook Christopher Steele to get the goods on Trump.

Mark Steyn: "So Attorney-General Jeff Sessions (who's the root of a lot of this mess...) is obliged to recuse recuses himself...meanwhile, his Associate Deputy is meeting with Christopher Steele and the head of Fusion GPS and has his wife on the payroll of Fusion GPS but it never occurs to him that this is anything he needs to mention to anyone, least of all dear old Recusable Jeff."

Exactly times 10. Sessions is the heart of the problem. I do not see Sessions as some nice but bumbling fool. I see him as a malicious Trojan horse because that's what events have told me he is.

Once again it goes back to the train wreck that is the leadership of Ryan and McConnell.

They are fine with this abomination because it is operating against Trump. Supporting the weaponization of the justice department purely because they dislike Trump is monumentally stupid. It will be used against them sooner rather than later.

My only complaint is that we are still tip-toeing through the broken glass. It’s beyond corruption; it is treason. What passes for a government is full of traitors.

People have got to be arrested or it will never stop. Lock and load.

Didn’t consider that, but it is such a key element to this story. Every one of these douchebag “investigators” o Mueller’s team is there because they were players in covering up the crimes of Hillary. The “investigation” itself is a criminal conspiracy to frame Trump for Hillary’s crimes.

My impression is that Sessions has lived in the swamp so long that leaving the swamp is uncomfortable. There are many Sessions in the swamp who have not done anything bad. But the swamp is all they know. A world without the swamp scares them.

No it won't, not in conservatives nature.
