Didn't they think dumping tires off of the coast was going to create a fishing bonanza? That turned out to be a disaster. Becoming energy independent is good enough for me.

Besides, this is natural oil, which would tend to get into the water anyhow. What’s a little natural oil in natural fish? Isn’t that all natural anyhow?

You know CA could easily wipe out its budget deficit simply by allowing off-shore drilling from its coast.

Just amazing how a state, adjacent to the world's largest body of water, refuses to take advantage of its God-given resources.

Tires make a great reef, as long as it’s done right. The tires have to be chained to something that can’t move.

Drilling rigs are hot spots for fishing in the Gulf - caught many a Red Snapper and Cobia out there....just a lagniappe to tapping the energy resources....
