When it comes to website design, the Obama White House was not known for doing so efficiently or cheaply. Those with long memories of insurance exchanges can attest to this.

Apparently, this kind of profligacy extends to other web portals as well. And President Trump’s administration is going to save $3,000,000 by nuking the current design of Whitehouse.gov and unveiling a new one.

I think we all learned through the healthcare fiasco that the Obama admin had no business building websites.

Obozo was a piddler and an empty suit. He signed the things his treason team put together and he mocked America, and not much else.

Building websites, if healthScare is any indication, is a mechanism to charge the government a fortune to pay off cronies, future campaigns, and/or slush funds. Only a mere pittance of the proceeds go to actually making the website work.

... or the website has an agenda - like planned failure, for which they’ll have an even better website and/or program to “fix” it with.

The fix was in both times by running two Deep State Socialist fake Republican ringers against Zero.

My suspicion it was all a slush fund. “Oh yeah, it was for web and tech work...” meanwhile, it goes to fund fascist statist candidates or to the local brothel and watering holes. Maybe some of it went up their noses in the form of white powder.

And by the way, the way it looks, we may need to vet some of these “Republican” clowns, too. Wouldn’t put it past some of them.

Let’s remember: Charlie Crist and Lincoln Chafee were once “Republicans”.

Sorry Jimmy, but Obama won the title of Worst U. S. President in History.

He worked every moment for eight years to do it.

His army of subordinates did too.

So did the Muslim Brotherhood, al Qaeda, and ISIS.

Well, when McCain essentially endorsed Obama, that let the air out of the tires of any opposition to the man.

Building and designing the healthcare websites were given as political rewards and a way for the chosen companies to make enormous amounts of money.

Of course. He got a bit too “honest” about his agenda:

A real opponent would’ve outlined why everyone except those that hate America had everything to fear from Zero’s regency. As we know, McQueeg only goes nuclear on other Republicans, same as with Scum Willard.

"security and maintenance were a major part of the cost of the old website, which the source said cost $6 million per year"

Team Obozo had the country spending $6 million PER YEAR on the WH website. Not to do the initial development (which was probably a lot more in ridiculous "consultant" fees etc.) but simply for ongoing operations and maintenance. Unreal.

$3,000,000 for a website?

I can see where they might have to add a little bit extra for technical design - possible scaling issues, etc. But nothing classified should ever have to come near it. No reason to spend a bunch of money.

Yep, I agree.

I don’t honestly remember either of them taking a Democrat to task. Perhaps I’m forgetting...

I respectfully disagree. Obama was very good at what he wanted to do, namely hurt America and its citizens, help our enemies, and line his own pockets. Just like the Clintons.

$3,000,000 for a website?

That's peanuts compared to the 0bamaCare website...
