They will take credit for it and the MSM will lie to tell everyone that the RATS pushed it through over Trump’s veto.

Reuters knows the answer! but there’s a “but” at the end:

21 Dec: Reuters: U.S. tax bill may face lawsuits with long odds but political payoffs
by Jan Wolfe
Democratic-leaning states may take legal action to challenge the cap on deductions of state and local taxes under the sweeping overhaul of the U.S. tax code, and even though such lawsuits would face long odds they could help galvanize Democrats for next year’s mid-term election...

Some political strategists see a win for Democrats regardless of how courts ultimately rule, saying that lawsuits could be used to keep the issue front and center for voters already largely disenchanted with the Republican party...

William O‘Reilly, a conservative political consultant in New York, said the SALT deduction issue would likely add to Republicans’ “suburbia problem” among college-educated voters ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.
“They already had one because of this president’s style,” O‘Reilly said...

But some legal experts noted that the state’s rights argument is more typically a conservative position. Using it to challenge the SALT provision could be a move that Democratic governors come to regret in the future, said Daniel Hemel, a professor at the University of Chicago Law School.
“The progressive agenda depends on the federal government being able to raise revenue and the Supreme Court not getting in the way of that,” Hemel said.

From what I understand, they just repeated what George W bush did thanks to Rubio. It sounds like he is giving out more tax refunds to those who never paid in.

It's a child tax credit. As the sole wage-earner with four kids and a stay-at-home wife raising them, I'm grateful for it. I called Rubio's office and thanked him for standing strong! If you want the tax credit, have kids!

And with four kids, I'll be paying plenty of taxes. It'll all even out in the end.

Today has been a great day. President Trump's awesome tax cuts included Senator Rubio's child tax credit increase.

The media is their ally and controls the public square.
Just change the subject:

“War on women”, “Free healthcare for all”, “Trump is bad”.

Those American citizens who understand the ideas essential to liberty, as well as the opposite and dangerous ideas of the tyrannical Progressive ideology know that those two sets of ideas are clashing in our current politics.

Giving up less of one's hard-earned income to federal politicians and bureaucrats is consistent with the ideas of liberty; whereas, allowing those politicians and bureaucrats to appropriate and consume those earnings with little accountability for outcomes and consequences fits right into the ideas of tyranny.

Hearing Democrats proudly defend their refusal to participate in giving relief to burdened citizens is mind boggling. Yet, those who have allowed themselves to become sheep in the Progressive herd seem to have forgotten that they were born to be free in a land whose Constitution limits government power and whose purpose is/was intended to expand freedom for individuals.

They’ll dig up anecdotes about the rich enjoying their opulent lifestyles and contrast that with the lives of the poorest derelicts they can manage to dig up.

First, they will deny that it is popular. If it gets to the point where they can’t, they will denigrate people who are happy with it and call them stupid. If that doesn’t work, they will go with “sure, it’s great now, but down the road you’re gonna have sell your organs for bread when it all collapses”.

I listened briefly to NPR this morning during my commute and some loser Dem senator was crying about how the money we save with this tax plan will be offset by the increased money we will need to spend on car repairs because our now-unfunded roads will be in such bad shape.

Even NPR host Kai Ryssdal wasn't buying it. And when the loser Dem senator described the average $1600 tax bill decrease as "crumbs" Ryssdal called him out on this as well.

How many House reps do we stand to lose in NY, NJ, and California ? Count ‘em on one hand, two max. And how many electoral votes lost in 2020 ? ZERO

The media will run none stop stories of urban decay and homelessness, which are a result of the tax cuts.

They will work (along with their media allies) to make sure that never becomes apparent. The ONLY stories and talking points will be about somebody who is having hard times and attributes it to the tax changes.

They won't change their game, they only have the one. When Reagan got his tax cuts passed, he wound up having them repealed because the Pubbies lost seats. You can bet your ass that's why the media is shilling for their DNC masters -- they did it in 1981/82 as well, and it worked then. I doubt that is going to work this time. If the Demagogic Party tips the Congress back into its control and tries repeal, the best the a-holes can hope for is secret burial to keep their graves from being desecrated. Thanks EdnaMode.

Not surprised. These are all blue state/blue district @sshats.

Let the pigs squeal. The vast majority of the states don’t care if the Rat tard high SALT states are upset. In fact, I think the low SALT states are laughing at the high SALT states and are enjoying the schadenfreude.

That’s all the DemoncRats have been saying.

Who is is left to die after the Tax Bill passed?

Nearly all of the 5% that pay more will be in California, New York, and Illinois.

Schadenfreude! Their feasting on the wealth of others is coming to and end.
