Actually the Democrats of 1860 were considered conservatives. The Republicans back then were the wild eyed liberals.

No, that is a total myth pushed forth by liberals to this day. Tell me you do not believe that. The Democraps of the 1860s are exactly the same Democraps that exist today as are the Republicans. Absolutely nothing has changed. Democraps still believe government should control black. And Republicans, REAL Republicans believe they should be free of government. Nothing has changed whatsoever
