The US Department of Justice will investigate claims that the Obama administration shielded the Lebanon-based Shi’ite terrorist group Hezbollah from criminal prosecution for its drug-trafficking and gun-running operations, as part of an effort to curry favor with Hezbollah’s patron, Iran.
Last week, Politico released an investigative report citing Drug Enforcement Administration and former Treasury Department officials who claimed that the previous administration blocked the prosecution of Hezbollah officials known to be involved in the smuggling of illegal narcotics and weapons – including chemical weapons – in an effort to bring Hezbollah’s patron state, Iran, to the negotiating table.
In 2015, the US, China, Russia, France, England, and the European Union signed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) – better known as the Iran nuclear deal – with the Tehran regime.
In the lead up to the signing of the JCPOA, the report claims, the Obama administration systematically shut down attempts to prosecute Hezbollah officials involved in smuggling operations and money laundering – including the shipping of drugs to the US.
According to former Treasury official Katherine Bauer told the House Committee on Foreign Affairs this February that the Obama administration had “tamped down” on investigations against Hezbollah officials in an effort to placate Iran.
“Hezbollah is using so-called legitimate businesses to fund, equip, and organize [its] subversive activities. Under the Obama administration, however, these investigations were tamped down for fear of rocking the boat with Iran and jeopardizing the nuclear deal.”
A years-long operation by the Drug Enforcement Administration to prosecute the members of the Hezbollah-affiliated drug and weapons trafficking rings, code named “Project Cassandra”, was blocked from seeking criminal charges against a number of suspects, former officials claim – something former White House spokesman Kevin Lewis denied.

I fail to see exactly why France, England, and the European Union went along with this deal. Russia and China, I can see, but why the Euroweenies? Couldn’t be pallet loads of US taxpayer money flown in after dark, could it?
The depth of corruption by Obama is unequaled in the history of this country. Think about all of the presidents who could have but didn’t. Not even Harding or Nixon.
Let's understand. what's going on here. Obama colluded with Hillary to hide State Dept documents. But the unspoken reason for this unheard of deletion, appropriation and illegal conversion of govt documents is to COVER-UP Obama's part in some horrendous activities.
(1) The secret billion dollar Iran deal that included pallets of cash and gold bars....(2) the uranium deal, and, (3) the State Dept's Muslim Engagement activities....(as just three examples) undermines the safety and security of Americans and their families. More than likely, hidden in these documents are Obama's transmitting billions of tax dollars to his pals.....some very dangerous foreign despots.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton struck a deal with the State Department while serving in the Obama administration that allowed her to take ownership of records she did not want made public, according to recently released reports.
Clinton and her then-deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin were permitted to remove electronic and physical records under a claim they were "personal" materials and "unclassified, non-record materials."
Judicial Watch made the revelation after filing a FOIA request with the State Department and obtaining a record of the agreement.
The newly released documents show the deal allowed Clinton and Abedin to remove documents related to particular calls and schedules, and the records would not be "released to the general public under FOIA."
The released records included a list of designated materials that "would not be released to the general public under FOIA" and were to be released "to the Secretary with this understanding."

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton released a statement condemning the agreement between the government and Clinton. "We already know the Obama State Department let Hillary Clinton steal and then delete her government emails, which included classified information. But these new records show that was only part of the scandal," Fitton said. "These new documents show the Obama State Department had a deal with Hillary Clinton to hide her calls logs and schedules, which would be contrary to FOIA and other laws."
"When are the American people going to get an honest investigation of the Clinton crimes?" he added.

AAA's owner Nasir Khattak told a court: “If AAA (lends) a car to CIA, it was simply take the AAA car across the street to CIA and sell it, and maybe give the profit back.....or not. There was no documentation....you will not be able to make any sense out of them because there were dozens and dozens, of cars transferred between the two dealerships and between other people.”
“All of those transactions was to support Cars International A using AAA Motors,” he testified. “That’s why I did not make any money from my AAA dealership because my resources were supporting Awans' Cars International A.” Khattak did not explain to the court, or to the press, why he would ruin his own existing business to help the Awans.

REFERENCE---A Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Deputy --- Deputy First Class (DFC) Usman E. Rafi, 37 --- was charged with two Felony counts of using computer to gather identifying information (VCIN violation), thirty counts of dealer violations (misdemeanor) and thirty counts of open title violations (misdemeanor).
Rafi turned himself in. He was released on an unsecured bond. L/E found that between May, 2014 to November, 2016, the deputy used his official position to obtain information for the sale and resale of used vehicles. Further, the deputy used his access to the Virginia Criminal Information Network (VCIN) to assist with the transactions.
DFC Rafi is a ten year veteran of the department. NOTE WELL: That's right about the time the Awans were hired by Debbie Wasserman Schultz to IT House Democrats.

History will sift out the winners and losers, but only if we keep some semblance of reality preserved for later generations to peruse and gain their own insights.
