CAIRO — The Egyptian authorities hanged 15 men on Tuesday for an attack in the Sinai Peninsula in 2013, the start of an Islamic insurgency that the military-dominated government has been battling ever since.
The hangings, reported by state media, were the biggest mass execution in Egypt since six convicted jihadists were hanged in 2015.
A military court found the men guilty on terrorism charges last month for an attack on a military checkpoint in which one army officer and eight soldiers were killed. That assault came amid a surge of violence that swept across Egypt after Egyptian security forces forcibly broke up two Islamist sit-ins in the capital, Cairo, killing over 800 people. The military had seized power six weeks earlier, overthrowing a democratically elected Islamist president, Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The executions on Tuesday raise the number of people put to death since the military took over to 23.

Egypt realizes that it’s the only “language” muzzies understand.
It is also appears to be the only “language” that libs understand as well.
We need to bring back public hangings here...televised for all to see.

And those who were hung were because mohamad lost: a scumbag, criminal, murderer, thief, child molestor, rapist, sex trafficker... Muslims must be proud of their criminal.
To paraphrase the old joke, “What do you call 15 hanged terrorists? A start.”
I thought martyrdom was their highest aspiration? “Islamists” fearing the death penalty for terrorism is something only the NYT would lament.
If their toes dangle in the sand do you think they’ll trace Lissajous figures in it?
One would hope after Obama treacherously admitted Interpol jurisdiction on US soil that Egypt sent an Interpol warrant for their arrests...
Now THAT’S a way to deal with terrorists that I can get on board with.

I sincerely doubt this. Here is a group of people that their only desire is to make you there religion, kill you if you don’t, and die trying to kill you so they can have their fulfillment of their God’s promise of virgins in their heaven. They either don’t care if they die or try to. Fear is not within their capacity. And that’s all they know.
