We’re a tad bit west of Knoxville and Hubby and I began to feel a little punky today. Not sure if it’s flu or just E. TN allergy stuff. Both had the vaccine, but I think they’re just placebos. Went to Walmart yesterday. :(

Thanks for the report! Hopefully, if it's a flu strain, the vaccine will make it milder than it could have been. I was told that the vaccine takes about a couple of weeks to develop your antibodies against flu to best effectiveness.
The vaccine I received was real. Felt a tiny bit weird and was a little pale for two or three hours afterward. Very slight headache. Barely felt it. No problem now. It affects different people in different ways.
Had flu shots in the National Guard in the early '90s and one again in the early 2000s. I suspect those were different. Others are reported slight aftereffects with the newer shots but nothing serious. Some--maybe most--will notice no side effect at all.
