California Led U.S. with 490 UFO Sightings in 2017
PJ Media ^ | December 28, 2017 | Paula Bolyard

UFO sightings are nothing new. The Puritans reported strange sightings and lights in the sky as early as the 1600s. With the advent of movies about outer space and unidentified flying objects came even more sightings. The National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) has an entire website dedicated to the "collection and dissemination of objective UFO data." The organization curates reports of UFO sightings in the U.S. and Canada via a web form and a phone hotline, which has operated almost continuously since 1974. NUFORC logged a total of 4,655 sightings in 2017, down from the 2016 total of 5,619.

When you need a distraction, you turn to aliens.

It’s because CA is full of aliens of all types - legal, illegal, Democrats, liberals, socialists. So seeing a UFO is not that big of a deal to them. It’s kind of like normal people seeing houses, people, cars, trees. But to them, it’s UFOs.

Crazy Video of Object in Sky over Los Angeles (SpaceX Falcon 9)

“My wife, Erica, just got a crazy video of what turned out to be the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Everyone in parking lots and in the cars around her were stopped and taking videos. People were talking to those in other cars around them trying to figure out if it was a missile or a meteor. Awesome video to watch.”

With the legalization of marijuana taking effect on January 1, that number will go up in smoke.

“When you need a distraction, you turn to aliens.”

That the connection-assumption most people make, UFO = aliens. But a UFO is simply just something flying that a person can’t identify off the bat.

I see UFOs every time I throw leftovers in the pan and start heating ‘em up. Unidentified Frying Objects.

A hint. Never turn your back on an alien. Anal probage is very very likely to happen. Face them and back away. Protect the poop shoot at all costs. They live on fresh human poop. ;-)

Amazing, someone from Washington throwing stones at California, people in glass houses and all that.

The reason California reports more sightings is because Area 51 pilots like to test the experimental craft over us.

My state also leads the nation in homeless drug addicts and millinneal meth heads...that explains the UFO “sightings”

It’s the most populous state
It’s also has a very large area
Large expanses with little or no light pollution
Moderate climate (for the most part) makes stargazing a decent hobby

Based solely on population the #1 outlier is Montana (47 sightings, #34 of 50 states)
To me a bigger outlier is Connecticut (146 sightings - #9 out of 50 states, also has a very small area, cold climate, lots of light pollution).

At the other extreme is Texas (116 sightings - #12 out of 50 states). Based on population you would expect more.

There are those who assert that the sped up disclosure effort is to distract and try to neutralize the Trump admin's Executive Order declaration of an emergency to confiscate massive amounts of wealth and imprison, execute etc. an incredible list of elites guilty of corruption and horrific child sexual abuse and sacrifice to satan.

That's sure plausible.

There are threads on Q-anon, 4chan, 8chan on FR and other places with plenty of youtubes about it all. But it's a challenge to find the better youtubes on the Q-anon stuff. Some of the better ones are listed on the threads here and at

Time will tell. Interesting times, as the Chinese might say.

He doesn't have a boyfriend. Seriously.

I'm a 65 y.o. widowed grandmother.

California has a lot of defense industries. AZ has more than a few. It's hard to guess much about the geographical clustering. But defense industries, bodies of water, sites with "devil" in the place names, and nuclear weapons seem to correlate a bit more with increased UFO sightings according to some.
