If there was a feud, the public affairs situation looks like a mess. We’ll see. I’ve seen various kinds of characters under various hats.
Been through quite a bit in the past but do not subscribe to PTSD, self-esteem, etc. I am thankful, though, that there’s been no noticeable change in disposition here from any of the old forehead injuries. Maybe we should always wear helmets while continuing to learn to be nice, eh?

Yeah, it is truly incredible how the cop haters bring their b.s. even to this kind of massacre. Before they had any idea what really went down on the scene, when all they knew was that one officer was dead and several more were wounded, they were making snide remarks and attacking the officers. UNREAL.
I’m surprised that it took 52 posts for one of the resident cop haters to crawl out from under their rocks.

Rumor from a news site said that according to a Denver reporter, Riehl worked “mainly in security” in Iraq. If that’s true, then most likely, it didn’t involve very rough duty or initial training.
I’m guessing that the Army checked him out somewhat but not in a very thorough way. Men in some specialties are put to the test more than men and women in other specialties for purposes having to do with extremely dangerous or otherwise critical duties or even for public safety after they’re discharged.
But even a man who has been through the most demanding of training can later go crazy with a drug, alcoholism or another indulgence that is extremely bad for health. In a yet more rare kind of case, a head injury can cause someone to become uncharacteristically violent without any other cause that makes sense.
