Women’s March draws fire for silence on Iran protests
Washington Times ^ | January 2, 2018 | Bradford Richardson

The Women’s March is facing intense pressure to come out in support of Iranian women protesting the fundamentalist Islamic regime.

Women have become symbolic leaders of the protests, which are entering their sixth day, by removing their hijab in defiance of laws mandating they cover their faces and hair. One image that has gone viral shows a young woman standing above a crowd, waving her jettisoned white hijab like a flag.

The death toll from the anti-government protests rose to 21 overnight, and at least 450 people have been arrested.

The Women’s March is busy rolling out its anniversary protest against the Trump administration and has yet to weigh in on the plight of Iranian women. This year’s flagship march will be held in Las Vegas on Jan. 21. The theme is “Power to the Polls.”

The women's march was never about women's rights.

“The women’s march was never about women’s rights. “

Nothing the Left does is about what the Left says it is. It’s similar to how Congress names bills. The Affordable Care Act, which was neither affordable or caring. Then there’s “Woman’s Health” which isn’t about women or health.

IF they really really cared, come 1/20/2018 they would show up in Tehran and let their voices be heard. No, really. ;-)

American feminists - apparently a broad majority of them - have managed some true political gymnastics in declaring the hijab “empowerment”, a position so entirely contrary to every expression of human freedom that one wonders if they’re not all on drugs. Don’t expect any such concession to reason in Las Vegas.

If they’re so concerned, why not march over there and support them by joining them? Put up or shut up ladies.

The leader, Linda Sarsour, is a Muslim who loves Sharia law.

The so-called Women’s March was a cultish Progressive ideological event similar to the Jim Jones “event.” Any celebration of it will indicate that cult members are still under the same “spell.”

"The women's march was never about women's rights."

One of Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" is "The issue is never the issue". The point being that the only real issue is always worldwide communism and everything else is a deception to that end.

The women’s march is a bunch of America-hating leftists, looking for sympathy for their self-pitying cause. They have no intention of helping the iranians overthrow their oppressive regime. They hate Trump, and would never do anything that looks like supporting Trump.
Ya want patriarchy, gals? in iran you have patriarchy.

The leaders of these “Womens Rights” campaigns suck in the rubes who are foolish enough to believe the issue is really women’s rights
when it is really just a front to push the liberal, leftist, socialist, globalist agenda.

They make an American pat on the derrière an international issue ignoring the millions of real women who are treated as chattel, beaten,
abused, stoned and killed in in the name of Islam in muslim countries and ghettos every day.

Is Ashley Judd still pissed off, that she got blood on her pants from her period? I still can’t believe she used her platform at the women’s March to talk about menstruation.

Has Madonna ever been investigated for her dream of blowing up the White House?

They are the masters of propaganda. Sort of like calling criminal illegals "Dreamers". Who can be against a "dreamer"???

Iranian female protesters defiantly pulling off their hijabs is very unfeminist behavior. Vogue and Vanity Fair both say that the hijab is a cool new way to express female empowerment. These Iranian protesters must be White Supremists or Zionists.

Who wants to take a bet on Trump semi-trolling them on this march?

If it was me, I would tweet something along these lines:

The truly strong women of Iran risk their lives daily to protest women's rights. So far I see no support of them by the local Women's March "leaders". SAD.

Any bets on what he will do?
