UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said in tweets on Tuesday that the United States may withhold future aid payments to Palestinians, accusing them of being “no longer willing to talk peace” with Israel.
Trump said that Washington gives Palestinians “HUNDRED OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS a year and get no appreciation or respect. They don’t even want to negotiate a long overdue peace treaty with Israel ... with the Palestinians no longer willing to talk peace, why should we make any of these massive future payments to them?” The President’s tweets follow plans disclosed by his U.N. ambassador earlier on Tuesday to stop funding a United Nations agency that provides humanitarian aid to Palestinian refugees.
“The President has basically said he doesn’t want to give any additional funding, or stop funding, until the Palestinians agree to come back to the negotiation table,” Ambassador Nikki Haley told reporters when asked about future U.S. funding for the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees.
The U.S. is the largest donor to the agency, with a pledge of nearly $370 million as of 2016, according to UNRWA’s website.

With ISIS oil tankers no longer in the picture and things getting more steamy in Iran, this is a brilliant moment to hammer the Syrians, Jordanians and Egyptians who are in lands won by Israel during the attack on the country to put up or shut up. Personally, I would have just addressed the nations involved and skipped entirely talking to those who aren’t represented by a real government.
Each time one of these “US-Funded things” are brought to light, I am amazed at the amount of money being doled out. You start beginning to wonder of a substantial downpayment on our “national debt” could be made if we just told the rest of the world standing at our door with their hands out, “the USA Piggy Bank is closed permanently!”
Whenever I hear that "the world" thinks this or that about America, I always get a mental picture of a blue sphere with latitude and longitude lines, and a scowling face that looks a little like a blue Elmer Fudd head.
Shouldn’t be sending them money anyway. Our country with all the greatness is really stupid financially. We have a huge debt, but yet sending money to other countries? Ok, why not put it back in the IOW Social Security bank. At least we will be spending it on Americans.

How many commercials do you see or hear for law firms or accounting firms that will help Americans who are past due or in trouble with the IRS? People here in America are struggling financially and to see any of our money being sent to these 3rd world hell holes is a huge middle finger to all of us. That is our money that these slime ball politicians are giving away. They are taking our money by force and giving it away.
What a silly excuse to keep our money. Why dont we just keep our money? At the very least we could demand the merger of UNRWA into the UNHCR so we’re not cutting checks directly to a terrorist organization. The whole situation is disgusting. Were paying for educational programs that promote hatred of us and our allies. Hundreds of millions of dollars a year to “partners” who undermine our goals at every opportunity and decry our decisions in every public forum.

These terrorists have NEVER been kind to us or Israel. I personally think it is a slap in ever veterans face that has died for our Country to be handing out money to people who want to kill us.
