What is the point to an “Emergency Session”?
We never have and won’t now do anything to interfere on behalf of the protests.
Iran will continue to abuse its people until a full, shooting revolution starts. The Guards and Mullahs have pretty much full control and all the guns.
Ahhh. This is brilliant. This doesn't really have anything to do with Iran. This maneuver is for the UN. I believe this is for two things.
1) To test the UN following Haley's last appearance and pseudo threats. Are you now with us or still against us?
2) To further advertise the UN's complete and utter impotence and disdain for their largest donor and most powerful member.
I think they expect the UN ignore us and put another notch in the belt for when the USA cuts funding. If the UN were smart, they would assemble. But I don't think they are smart.
It’s a good opportunity to show once again how impotent the UN is when it comes to promoting or protecting human rights by calling it into session.
