A sign saying something like F*ck the Police would be offensive. But it would be protected speech, as it does not openly call for violence.

But Kill the Police, no way is that protected speech. No more than Kill the ________ would be (fill in with any group of people).

Collectivist Useful Idiots would really LOVE it if they could bamboozle Americans into debilitating the 1st amendment.

Object lesson time. If the guy held up a sign that said “Kill The News Media”, do you think the press would feel non-threatened and respect his freedom of speech as they appear to do with this story? How about “Kill The Lawyers”?

Someone should stand out there with a sign that says “kill all ni99ers” and see if anyone stands up for his free speech rights.
