I would have far less objection to an Arab state, if I didn’t know for a fact that it would be instantly armed to the teeth and dedicated to destroying Israel.

We can say what we want about Jordan, but it was accosted by the Arabs who like to call themselves (the Palestinians) too.

Jordan has been a moderate friend of the West. Now it may not see eye to eye with us on all things, but it's leadership has been very amenable to the West.

I like the king and his wife there. I think they try to run a pretty decent nation. King Abdullah's father was also a very good guy. He had a beautiful wife from America, named Queen Noor.
