In a post on Sunday, King—a staunch pro-American immigration reformer who has long opposed mass immigration—urged Trump to steer clear of a plan that would begin with giving amnesty to nearly 800,000 illegal aliens shielded from deportation by the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
According to King, such an amnesty deal, even if it is coupled with a plan to reduce legal immigration levels to benefit America’s working and middle class, would cause a surge at the U.S.-Mexico border of illegal aliens while continuing to circumvent the Rule of Law:
King’s assertion that a DACA amnesty would lead to more illegal immigration is readily backed up by border-crossings in November 2017 and the rate of illegal aliens coming to the southern border when Obama was implementing the DACA program.
Between Fiscal Year 2011 and Fiscal Year 2014, the same period when DACA was being implemented, border-crossings nearly tripled as illegal aliens sought to gain the temporary amnesty status that came along with having DACA protection.
Likewise, in November 2017 when Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and establishment Republicans and Democrats endorsed a plan to give amnesty to DACA illegal aliens, border-crossings ticked back up to Obama-era levels, as Breitbart News reported:

“They have money, they have time, and this is their job. So they do watch,” Nielsen said of illegal aliens and human smugglers. “They watch what’s happening in Congress. They watch what’s happening as part of our national conversation and they learn as we along. So we see more and more loopholes being exploited.”
Most recently, Kansas Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Kris Kobach has also warned Trump against accepting a deal on DACA amnesty by the Republican establishment, Breitbart News reported. Kobach, like King, said such a plan would lead to a major border surge.

The parents should have been preparing for this day since they first broke the law to circumvent legally immigrating
Then they would realize the way to keep their families together is to gather up their offspring, chain migration relatives too, and head back to their own corrupt countries and FIX THEM!
Work on your countries to bring them up to the standards of the USA, instead of making the United States a third world country like where you came from.

DACA is amnesty.
Any policy towards illegals must - MUST - address the incentives that are set up by that policy. Are you incentivizing more to try their hand at illegal entry or are you incentivizing them to stay home and apply through the legal process?
With 600 million people south of our porous non-existent southern border and untold millions outside the Americas who might also avail themselves of this easy access, there can be only one immigration policy -
Stop giving prizes
for illegal entry.
Any measure that permits those who entered illegally to benefit from that illegal act is amnesty. And any amnesty will bring millions more invaders.
This must be stopped.

Why reatain people who hate Americans and the Rule of Law as do, or will, most DACA illegal immigrants.
Build the wall, don’t arrest them as long as they are headed for the border back to whatever country they belong in. IF they want to come back, drug test and test for any diseases that this country spent years eliminating.
Besides rewarding illegal behavior I have not ever been able to understand how anyone could become a US citizen if they don’t pass the test. That includes knowing History and speaking English.

I wouldn’t mind Amnesty for 800,000 only if:
If Trump gets what he needs to build a wall, ends train migration, ends diversity lottery and enacts a good merit based policy, gets E-verify funded and functional, a fully functional and authorized border patrol with ROE that allow strict enforcement of the laws on immigration. Reign in the H1B visa abuse + limiting it 50% over the next 10 years.
Add a national voter registration card for good measure.
Either way, if he blows it and caves or holds to strict standards I don’t believe it’s breaking the law.
